yeah, 16 for account id. I did notice that finding it in a ps3 save will be 15 if the first number is a 0.

btw, do I have to connect to the ps4 with a computer, cuz I'm using the sandisk connect.

So I am begining to think it is either my ps4, my debug.bin or my hen payload. Can you tell me are you using hen 1.7 when doing this or it doesn't make a difference? Also would you mind uploading the debug payload you use? I am using 1.5. I get no luck with 1.1 I am about to try 1.0. But here is something funny I just tried with modern warfare version and it crashes with the account id I am getting so like what gives?

my decimal is 18 digits long and my hex is 15 sniffles why am I different?
I think your hex should be 16 (but I could be wrong)
I used hen v2.1.2 and ps4debug v1.5. do you get the 'ps4debug by golden' popup when you send the bin?

If you just want an activated profile you can use any random 16 digit hex but obviously it would be better if you can get your official one to work.

Yeah same payload I am using. I tried both hen 2.1.2 and 1.7 both modern warfare and this gui. I think what I have discovered is that some of us are just simply 15 digits. For whatever reason. I am going to send you a pm with my info so you can see for yourself. Remember this is happening both on an account I have had for years and one I just made today. So I am sure this will affect others ya know? Only thing I can do is try and forward to dev sent him a tweet.

Hey man, thank you for the ps4debug v.1.5.bin, this one works perfectly as it's supposed to.

And I wonder where did you get ps4debug v1.5? I see no sign of it anywhere on jogolden github page where are only 1.0 and 1.1 and they aint working with the account activator. Even on Zer0XFF github there are only 1.0 and 1.1. So I'm confused here...

- ps4debug.bin (1.0 and 1.1) from jogolden's github didnt work (didnt have "ps4debug by golden" popup)
- ps4debug.bin from al azif xploit online host works ( has "ps4debug by golden" popup) so what version is this?
- ps4debug.bin (1.5) from you works like the one on al azif site.

I got it from the savemounter github a while ago.

Another tip, If you use PS-Phwoar! or X-Project you can just run the savemounter payload instead of sending the ps4debug bin.
Savemounter uses the same ps4debug v1.5 payload to communicate with the PS4. It will give a different popup message but it is the same thing in the end.
This could be useful if someone does not know how to send a bin file to their PS4.:)

@Leeful , do you know if the registry is on the hdd like a NOR ps3? I'm trying to decide if I should format my system while the hdd is connected to the ps4 or the pc. I think user one is 10000000 and user two is 10000001. does it start over by reformatting like it does on a NOR ps3 (as long as it's formatted on the pc) or would the next user be 10000002 on the ps4 and/or pc? it seems likely that it's on the hdd, since it started over for me, and my system was used.

also, is there any way to use this app without connecting the ps4 to the internet like with a sandisk connect? I sniffed the links to block with my ps4, but it no longer works with ccproxy, because the ps4 is an old one with 2.4GHz while my pc is using 5GHz and different ssid. is there a way to know if the update blocker is working or already installed (i.e. like installing it again) or will it not mention it or does that even matter? I was hoping there was an indicator without connecting to the internet. I don't want to risk an update being downloaded.

No idea about the registry, sorry.
RE the app, if your pc has wifi you can connect to the sandisk connect network so that your PS4 and your PC are on the same network. (the sandisc connect network) then when you run the app you would connect to your PS4 ip address.

damn dude. I hadn't thought about that. I'll try it at some point. I'm not in any real hurry, since I only game on the switch, ps2, and wii u.

@Leeful , if I understand you correctly, all I need to do is run save mounter on the ps4 with either your or @KiiWii 's frontend. then use the exe file from the link to the account activator. is that all? I'm really rusty with the ps4, since I haven't used it in months. I did turn it on recently just to make sure. my controller was dead and couldn't connect when it would power on. recharged it, and now it turns on the system again. I guess it needs a little extra juice to send the command to the ps4. ;)

I havent personally tried it but it should work OK.
just make sure that there is no LAN cable connected to your PC. That way there is no chance of anything being able to connect to the internet.:)

Yes. Connect your PS4 and your PC to the sandisk connect. Run Hen then run savemounter, then run the exe on your PC and enter the ip of your PS4.

Remember to not use it on your main account as all your saves will not work anymore.

heh, if something goes wrong, I'll just blame it on @Hayato213 . :D

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

just figured out that save blocks for the ps1 are in multiples of 16 as well: 16x512=8,192bytes/block.

also, memory card is multiple of 16: 15 blocks + 1 toc =8x16=128KBs (size of memory card). the only thing I couldn't get was the myprofile.dat on the vita: 328/16 = 2.5, so 8 may be a more apt number to work with everything or multiples of it.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

@seanp2500 , are you sure your aid is not using a 0 for the first number? that's how it was on the ps3 originally for me. I found out for sure by looking at my vita's id.dat. that will list the 0.

Here are the test account details seanp2500 used: (it's in the video he made so its OK to show it here)

The account id in decimal is: 333758381760163642
This converted to hex is: 4A1BF7AD99FAF3A
The problem with this is it is ony 15 digits not the needed 16.

Adding 0 to the start of the hex works.

the decimal of 4A1BF7AD99FAF3A is 333758381760163642
the decimal of 04A1BF7AD99FAF3A is also 333758381760163642

if you enter 333758381760163642 here https://www.rapidtables.com/convert/number/decimal-to-hex.html
the Hex signed 2's complement: is 16 digits but the normal hex is only 15.

I have no idea what signed 2's complement is, Ive tried to understand it but I cant get my head around it.

When I use my own given decimal account id it converts to a 16 digit hex and the Hex signed 2's complement is also the same 16 digits.

The big question is, is the Hex signed 2's complement number the correct one to use.

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

Man, that's beyond my brain  I'm no good with hardware for now. I'd like to get into hardmods in future though

@Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

@Maximumbeans, Same here. I did soldering at school from a teacher who I honestly liked since he had plenty of good electronics experience.
