Borderlands 3 releases on Steam on March 13, after six-month Epic Games Store exclusivity

For the population of PC gamers that ignore the existence of the Epic Games Store, Borderlands 3 is due for release next month. After a six-month exclusivity period with Epic Games, the game is coming to Steam on March 13th. If your friend group is split between having already tried the Epic Games Store version and wanting it on Steam, you won't have to worry, as the two different launcher versions will have crossplay with each other. As noted by the Steam page, it'll have Denuvo DRM.

I'd get it, had the company hadn't done all the scummy crap it did leading up to and even following the game's release. Don't think I'll forget what happened with the suited thugs at that one youtuber's house!

I've finished it with a friend and it's basically Borderlands 2.5 - it's bigger but not better. It runs a hell of a lot worse, that's for sure. I'll buy all the dlc in a year or probably two...whenever it's dirt cheap. I knew I was buying a buggy game and I stand by my purchases but I decided to try to get a refund after a couple of hours. It wasn't accepted so I just played it with my buddy. I didn't think they deserved my money after I realized it was nowhere near finished. It ran like crap. I was prepared and I did read the forums before I bought it. I had a good time but the loot system is completely broken. There's nothing you find out in the world worth picking up. You can get a shitton of golden keys and get yourself some stuff every five-ten levels or whatever. It's just broken. I remember enjoying Borderlands 2 more.

Regardless of Epic exclusivity I lost interested after the second game, I don't think I can be bothered playing it.

Eh, my PC is too much of a potato for this game. I've heard it's kinda decent though, so I guess that's cool for Steam users!

I find it somewhat amusing that the pre sequel is more or less ignored entirely in these discussions.

Now having played pre sequel that is not exactly unjustified but I still find it amusing.
