Dude, editing your HL is really easy, i found the adress in like 5min.
It's [main+74ff38] + a18
What tool did you use to pull that value?

Where you using edizon?
Checkpoint and hex edit?
Or a memory editor?

Cause from what I can tell the saves seem to be encrypted or something, because the save data checkpoint pulled literally made 0 sense even compared to other save files.

So I was going to do my best to actually create something for this using edizon or something else. But I have the XCI file, and I need to change it to a god damn NSP to use any memory editors with it and honestly I am just too lazy.

By the time I set up my SX OS Pro dongle to boot into another payload and setup the memory editor with my pc find the offsets for edizon. I could literally just fucking play the game and grind what I want...

so lol. /shrug

Sorry friends.. if I have some spare time or get superrrrr bored then potentially I might put some effort into this. But for now I will just sit here waiting for someone else to do something lol.

Good news is that NSwitchdebugger works on this game, you can edit HL, Mana, exp, and extra stats in character creation. Theoretically Edizon’s RAM editor should work but theres stll some kinks thats needs to be iron out.

Just editing Mana will be good enough for me... mind sharing how you would do that? Noob when it comes to using NSwitchdebugger.

https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-edit-memory-and-change-in-game-values-nswitchdebugger.512335/ Here you go, the UI is super unfriendly, it’ll take a while to get the hang off

Do note that small values i.e. one to two digits takes a very long time to scan, if its look like its frozen, its not ,the longest scan i had was 4 hours (for a two digit mana)

I try Nswitchdebugger for Disgaea 5 and it always crashes the game or kicks me out of the game when I modify HL
search doesn't take long, but, it always crashes...

it even crashes if I go to Nswitchdebugger, come back and try to save guess I'll have to try with a different tool since this one likes to crash so much

edit:

found out there was an error on where to place hekate file as it was in root. Put it in bootloader. But, every time I try to run NSdebugger it says that the file /newfirm/loader.kip is missing... guess I am missing a file...

edit 2: Loaded the files, still refuses to load the firmware. do not know what is missing as it does not state what is missing. Can someone share the modules needed?
