Recently Steam has updated Steam Play with Proton 5.0, which is based on the latest Wine update, which allows Windows Software (Games) to run on Linux.

Has anyone taken the test on L4T Ububtu for Nintendo Switch?

In short: No, it won´t work. The main problem is not the fact that you are running Linux, but that you are on the ARM CPU platform. Windows games and software are compiled for X86 processors. Therefore Wine does not help you to play Windows stuff on the Switch.

I think you haven't heard much about Proton. If you have not tried it, better not draw conclusions.

Proton is fork of wine, so the same principles apply. Proton is a great tool of you are on a Intel or AMD CPU. However, the switch runs a ARM processor, therefore Ubuntu on the Switch is the ARM version as well.
There is tool called Hangover (https://github.com/AndreRH/hangover), which makes it possible to emulate Windows on an ARM Linux. This comes at the cost of a high perfomance loss, and a limited compatibility.

It's not some wild wacky conclusion that he's come up with, mate. Anybody with half a brain knows that x86 programs aren't compatible with ARM processors.

Exaggerating works better.

But with all this I mean ah that the latest Proton update (5), included support for Vulkan.

But I guess it's far from taking advantage.
