60 FPS IPS patch for West release of Ni no Kuni.

TID: 0100E5600D446000
BID: C32B29CB5FBA96D9 (1.0.2)

Recommended minimum OC settings for handheld:

Code:

CPU 1224, GPU 768, RAM 1600

Some cutscenes are prerendered on game engine, so they are stuck to 30 FPS.

Copy folder NiNoKuni_60FPS to sdcard folder:
atmosphere/exefs_patches

And you can run game.

@masagrator Thank you I was looking forward to get this. But, I can't seem to make it work. maybe IDK when "boot of the game" is exactly. I always get 0.5x speed. can you please be more specific on when exactly to activate cheat? thank you. I open game and right after selecting user, I minimize, go to HM (applet Mode), open edizon, activate 60fps cheat, go back to game... but then no 60fps, instead i get 0.5x speed. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help!

Edit: NVM. I found what the problem was. I hadn't plugged the charger in (only overclocked for handheld_charging). As soon as I did, it worked flawlessly. But Now I have a question can/should I also overclock only handheld (no charging) to those frequencies, and would it be safe? Thanks

If you are going above sys-clk restrictions, you are doing it on your own responsibility and I'm not advicing it.

You should be safe. People have done tests and the Switch gets 4 degrees hotter on max OC. Not enough to start causing any damage.

Has anyone else encountered this strange graphical glitch? I was playing on handheld mode at the time with max overclock settings and the 60fps cheat enabled. It only occurred for a few frames and so far only in this cutscene.

is there any way to get this to work with the japanese version - its on the same update version but the TID and BID are different. I tried modifying the TID and BID to match but the cheat has no effect

If BID is different, then for 99.9% offset has changed. Without having Japanese version I can't do anything about it.

Sorry for asking, but i also want a Japanese Version Patch. Japanese version can be found on nxbrew .

I have followed the "60 FPS Cheats for NSwitch" and try make my own cheat, and double game speed come with the double fps.

if you don't have time or something else, can you give me some tutorial to make 60FPS cheat like this, i have search on google but only found one tutorial easy to understand and useful. I will be grateful for any help you can provide.

Updated mod to IPS format, since we have now GDB it was easy to find what part of code is forcing 30 FPS game speed.
