Homebrew 3DS SD card Adapter.... Does This Exist?

I swear someone mentioned this device / adapter
Basically I'm hoping that a Micro SD adapter where I could .. Use 2 micro SD cards at the same time on my N3DS as ATM I have one 128 gig SD card .. Inserted now & I have a spare 128 SD card I hoping to fill with Moflex Movies as them have become rare .. & I have about 150 gigs of them ... Does such a thing exist or do I have to simply buy a bigger SD card ?

As far as I know there aren't any method to run two SD card in a 3ds at once, even if you use SD card extender you just dragging around a cable.

Those exist for the PSP's memory stick but not for regular SD cards.

technically, there was some work on accessing the gateway's microsd card from cfw, but yeah i'm not sure if it was ever public, and that was ages ago.
so yeah the answer is no.

Check my signature for SD cards. Make sure to full Write + Verify the empty card with H2testw to protect yourself from counterfeit goods.

Dude, just do the smart thing and simply swap them around depending on what it is you want to do. Using a 256GB SD card will literally only cause problems in the long run, the 3DS wasn't intended to use more than 32GBs normally, 64GB and 128GB is already pushing it... Basically copy all the key files from the main SD card to the second one, then manually delete any stuff like games ("Nintendo 3DS"→ID0→ID1→"titles", just careful in case the system generates a new ID1 for the new SD card) to make sure you aren't wasting space by having games installed on both, but keeping all the important things like CFW/homebrews installed, then just add the movies and whatnot you want to the second SD card. Finally, when wanting to watch said movies, switch SD cards, then when you want to play games switch back. As someone who is also using a 128GB SD card, I can tell you it's actually much simpler than it sounds and free if you already have additional SD cards. Just make sure they are both formatted properly though...

PS: As for those adapters that can use two SD cards, NEVER use those in devices meant for only one card at a time, since the two SD cards end up being considered one, but WITHOUT proper data management between them, meaning files will VERY often end up fragmented between the two and also just as often end up getting corrupted when they are split.

There IS such a thing as too big a SD card, bigger means slower, even if on paper the speeds are the same, loading times for everything get slower every time you increase the capacity. Also the bigger you go the more likely it is to run into a fake SD card that has a bloated capacity but not real one. But you do you I guess,

You know what I have bought loads of SD cards . From Amazon mostly & never got a fake even once ...

btw, what the heck are you loading in your 3ds? Everything? I'm having a hard time fill my 128gb.

they have a 400 sd card on Amazon $35 .... i want the extra space to put all the MOFLEX Movies ive collected ....... as they are very rare to find now most the sites that shared them have gone down ,, i have about 170 gigs of them i want to take off my PC to save space for Games

Are you sure? Amazon has tons of fake SD cards. The only way you can tell *for sure you get a real one is to test them out with H2testw / F3 / F3X.

Ulltimate retro rig library filled with NES, SNES, GB, GBC, GBA, NDS, SMS, GEN, PS1, ScummVM, Atari 800, C64, MAME, NGP(C), HOME Menu themes, etc. on top of the +300 various 3DS games.

Brand new, authentic 400 GB SD cards do not have average retail price of US $35.

You might want to research and read up other threads here that talks about load times for bigger SD cards. In my opinion, 128 GB card formatted in FAT32 + 64 KB cluster is the sweet spot for speed and capacity.

400gb for 35? Thats definitely a fake card thats being sold. You are not going to find a 400gb that cheap anywhere
