When I boot my wii the screen is black and I can't see anything. I can hear audio just fine and the controller syncs as well.

I was trying to set up melee on my homebrew wii so I downloaded nintendont and put an iso on my sd card. When I booted it told me I needed IOS58 installed. I got the IOS58 installer but it didnt work because my wii doesnt connect to the local network, I have tried multiple times to connect it but it just doesnt connect to my wifi. So I got on the forums to try and figure out how to do it without wifi and one of the threads said to get the IOS58.wad file from NUS Dowloader. So I did that and installed it using the WAD installer on multi-mod manager. After all of this I finally got melee to work on nintendont but now this shit has a black screen and I can't see anything. Did I brick my wii doing this? Do I have to take some anti-brick precautions next time I do this. Pls help I have no idea what i'm doing now.

It was a problem with the tv input. I thought I bricked my wii but I just unplugged the tv and plugged it back in and the video input started working.
