The black screen is something that happened to me if I tried to use wiiscrubber to replace the files and play on a real wii. You need to use method 3 for the real wii. Or maybe you switched 2 files when patching? Some have very similar names. Please come back to me if your 2nd attempt fails, but remember to start from scratch (if you patched with wiiscrubber for instance, there's a big probability the ISO is "corrupted", better start from the japanese ISO).I'd apply patch V0202 and had the same black screen, after that I'd shut it down thinking my patching didnt work. It is normal to have this black screen at the beginning? I think I'll have to apply the patch again and test it

delete Partition0 UPDATEI'd use method 3 and my ISO is different than the one in the tutorial, mine have Partition0 UPDATE and Partition1 DATA. I patched the data partition since it was more similar to the one in the tutorial. I'll try again and see how it goes
Can someone who has successfully made this please take pity upon me via PM?
Mine is Wii U USA. I'll see how to delete Partition0. Thanksdelete Partition0 UPDATE
you have WiiU EUR or USA
Try the new method, it might be unnecessary to delete any partitionMine is Wii U USA. I'll see how to delete Partition0. Thanks
I think it should make things easier now : as for me, I'm moving on to my next Wii project, expect to hear from me within a few months, but I remain at the disposal to anyone who meets difficulties and / or wants to ask me questions about my patch.
I failed four attempts with the old method. I'll use the new one, also I'll try to record the procedure from my laptopTry the new method, it might be unnecessary to delete any partition

Oh yes ! it might be as simple as that ! Try "force NTSC 480p" in video mode and come back to us.Thanks for taking the time for making the video.
I made a new patched ISO using the latest method and I had the same result, black screen with weird characters, the game doesn't run on my Wii U's vWii.
I decided to load the japanese ISO without patch and I got the very same black screen, so the patch is absolutely not the problem by now.
I think it may be due to my Wii U's region or my USB Loader GX configuration. I've tried many changes on USB Loader GX's config without success, so I asked a friend for his config file and I compared his file with mine, but I found nothing out of place.
I'll keep trying to make run the japanese version in the first place and then retry with the patch.
If I make it run, somehow or another, on my Wii U's vWii I'll let you know.
Thank you for everything.
