if it was just a hard reset it would send us back to the main ds screen, this does actually go back to the ezflash v option screen. it does feel like a hard reset though.

Do the cheat files need to be named as the internal rom name or as the file name of your rom in order to load? I haven't tested the new loader at all so maybe this is an obvious answer once I actually get in the loader. My wife has stolen my DS though, so I can't use it. (I gave it to her as an early Xmas present and I'm getting myself a new one)

If it is not working for you, you tried formatting fat 16 and used "clean" roms ?

OOOps, my MicroSD was still in FAT32, with FAT16 soft reset works.

As a side-note to all you people who complained that 1.6 took so long to be released, this is what happens when an update is released before it's ready.

I'm not saying that is definitely the cause of this mess, I have no idea, but that kind of sentiment doesn't help. Next time don't pressure the developers! Waiting for a complete release is better than listening to the whining when a rushed one goes wrong.

How does one enable clean rom mode? Does it have to do with the icon that goes blue/yellow when you touch it? I guess that has something to do with soft reset but what about simply running in clean mode?

you have to make a .ini file.
