Hacking MSX Wad Injection

Well as title states, I´m trying to inject MSX roms into existing MSX VC wad files. With no success ATM.

I am using Aleste JP as wad file and I am using tools which were made for Genesis wad injection but they wont do the trick on MSX roms.

Any help which leads to success would be greatly appreciated. Are there any tools which are recommended for MSX wad injection or are there any useful tutorials?

It must be possible as there are MSX wads so someone will be able to inject roms.

I really want to do this because I´d like to have Metal Gear 1&2 and the Hydlide series as wads so please help or point me in the right direction or show me the tools.

I already have MSXWii but I want to do the wads.

I tried to inject MSX ROMs as VC, so try to replace with your ROM the 'SLOT1.ROM' file that is located in the 00000005_app_OUT file, previously extracted from a 00000005.app file. Then, when you replaced with your ROM, pack again the 5.app file. Then pack again the WAD. Hope it help you

But somebody make you happy, and this person is me, @SaulFabre. I'm still making Wii Virtual Console iNJECTiONS bashed on the successful methods from @G0dLiKe, @0RANGECHiCKEN, @lolsjoel and @sr_corsario. Also I'm making Wii VC injecting tutorials.

Yeah it's great @G0dLiKe, but also @0RANGECHiCKEN, and now I'm following the method for injecting games as Wii VC. Remeber also me, @SaulFabre, because I also make iNJECTS for some consoles.

Hey you MUST view again my tutorial, sorry for that, because I forgot mention some important things about MSX VC injection and you MUST do something before packing the WAD. Go to my tutorial again and you can check everything correct and right steps to do. OK?

I am practicing as a penguin adventure, now I'm stagnant at the third stage.

When tried the 3rd step 23 process, runtime error 5 occurs in VCbrlyt9.0. "Invalid procedure call or argument"

Check if in the VCbrlyt folder has the following files:

common-key.bin
comdlg32.ocx
FM20.dll
zlib1.dll

These files MUST be in the VCbrlyt folder, and also in your computer.
The files MUST ALSO BE COPIED TO: C:/Windows/system32 and C:/Windows/SysWOW64
The comdlg32.ocx MUST also be registered. If you don't know how to do that, here's my guide:
