so i found an exploit on a switch with the latest firmware to get nca files from unreleased games and i am trying to see if i can get help decrypting the files that i've found. screenshots will follow (this is a fake key do not worry) but the thing that was strange is it came as a file folder with a nca name and inside was two 01 and 02 folder not nca just file. i exported the file to the usb and changed the files inside where to a nca format. i do not know how to decrypt the files so i am asking for your help. i have no idea how to decrypt it. sorry for spelling errors if there are any.

You will still need switch keys to decrypt. There are multiple guides out there to get them or that have them posted.

I used to manual decrypt them back in the early hacking stages but I couldn't tell you a lick of how I did it.

Edit: if you can't get the auto decrypter to work download hactool, you should be able to find a guide somewhere. SciresM seems to keep it up to date

You can't decrypt a Switch game before its release date. The only way to get a Switch game dump early is with a cartridge dump.

based on what I've read, the ticket for the game must be downloaded. that ticket is only available on release date where it will download a small update to the game.

You couldn't decrypt what's in the nca to view the objects and 3d files? I used to decrypt a ton of broken beta nca files. I don't know anything about the preloaded games though. Haven't touched them.

Retail digital titles are encrypted with the regular key area key encryption stuff, but then on top of that they're also encrypted with a titlekey that's unique to every rights ID (which is unique to every key generation of every title). That titlekey is provided with the games ticket, which isn't sent out until launch day.
Development titles usually don't have that titlekey crypto because it's kinda pointless since you can easily generate titlekeys on dev lol (only case of titlekey crypto I've seen on dev is game updates.)

You didn't find anything that wasn't already know, no one uses that method anymore because you'll get for using it banned. As for the files, they are garbage... move alone, nothing to see here.

Cracking or generating a key would take way longer than the month before the release... you'd probably be dead before that happened as well.

It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
