Hey you guys! I'm new here... i'm a total noob when it comes to hacking my WiiU but i've been pretty successful so far! I just wish I would have found this forum months ago when I first started hacking it...

Anyway, i've had my vWii hacked for a long time and have been playing games using WiiFlowLite running off a WBFS folder on my SD Card. It's given me no issues but today I wanted to try putting cheats into my game. So as a noob I just started google searching like crazy.. Installed Ocarina on my SD card and the code generator program and made a single GCT file for MarioKart Wii just to test it out and see if it worked... When trying to load into Ocarina, it would tell me there was an SD card error and i'd have to unplug my WiiU and plug it back in. Also when trying to use ocarina directly with WiiFlow Lite it just wouldn't work at all and WFL couldn't find any cheats. Apparently I needed Gecko OS to add support for SDHC cards so I installed that as well but still had no luck. Plus being a noob I didn't know which one to install... there were tons of different versions. Anyways after some searching, I found Fledge68's version of WFL and I was glad to see it was still being worked on, so I installed the latest update which was actually released today. I have no idea which version I had but i'm gonna guess it was really old. I installed it onto my SD card and removed all traces of the older WFL first, but now whenever I try and boot into it, it just keeps freezing up the console on the loading screen with WFL's logo and then i gotta reset the console. I feel defeated once again. Don't even know where to start with fixing this. Any ideas? Thanks ahead of time :)

Also if this is the wrong forum, let me know & I can post it somewhere else.

You should probably install d2x cIOS vwii mod. Check wiiu.guide and do NOT use beta 53! It doesn't work. Also I use a 128 gigabyte SD card and it works 100% fine without Gecko OS
EDIT: oh yeah, also DO NOT FOLLOW A VIDEO GUIDE!!! Wiiu.guide is the only guide that is up to date and the only one worth following.

I followed wiiu.guide long ago and have had no issues what-so-ever. I've had my vWii hacked for a long while too with no issues. And also have dx2 cIOS installed. I just couldn't for the life of me get cheats to work with WiiFlow using either ocarina or Gecko OS. So after some google searching, I installed the new version of WiiFlow. And i know i must have had a much older version since the new one has a much more modern logo than the one I was using. But this one just crashes at the bootup where it shows the WiiFlow logo. Idk why. It stalls there and doesn't do anything. I've waited at least 10 minutes. I even deleted every WiiFlow file from my SD card so that way I could start fresh. It's so weird.

Wiiflow keeps freezing on start up in vWii. It shows the logo then becomes unresponsive and I have to unplug the power cord. It used to work fine then I tried installing a channel forwarder for it from open channel installer. It froze after restarting the console and booting the program. I uninstalled the forwarder and wiiflow a few times but it keeps freezing on me. Im using a Wii U. I am still learning how everything works. Im not sure what else I can do. Im new to this site as well. I hope I didn’t post in the wrong spot.
