Hi there, I reviewed an old 3DS I found in a drawer that had a broken F1/F2 fuse, I replaced them with the ones found in the DS Lite.
When I try to turn it on the blue light fades off after some seconds.
When I put a SD card in, the blue light stays on for around 8 seconds and then fades off.
I tried to put the arm9loaderhax.bin file and Luma3DS firm file on the SD card and the light stays on.
The Luma3DS configuration menu appeared once but I can't get it to appear again.
Any ideas?

Try to put the safeb9sinstaller to the sd card and rename it to arm9loaderhax.bin. You should upgrade from a9lh to b9s first.
Still nothing

Can I remove A9LH manually by hardmodding the 3DS?

Hardmodding an A9LH'ed 3DS does not make much sense since installing B9S is done with a known plaintext (FIRM partitions) attack.

With that many potential causes of error (hardware damage) troubleshooting is very hard. Assuming you did rule out potential problems like faulty SD and bad filesystem I don't see a reason why it should decide to boot on B9S when it doesn't on A9LH. You could try starting a firm payload with ntrboot anyway.

Since you mentioned salvaging some old save data was your goal at some point, I guess you should try booting an A9LH compatible version of GodMode9 in order to get to copy movable.sed if you succeed.

You're talking about the O3DSXL mentioned in another thread, but this is a normal O3DS

Care to read that in its entirety once more? There is not any one place where a O3dsxl is mentioned whatsoever. It dont even matter what type of console it is. This will do what ya want for any one of them.

He mixed up another thread created by me where I stated that I want to save savedata from a broken O3DSXL

Yeah, it's working with the new SD card reader
But it still won't boot the SafeB9SInstaller

Now the 3DS won't turn on anymore. The blue light illuminates for 3 seconds and then turns of. I can hear a pop from the speakers, but the F fuses are fine...
