Mod for Luigi's Mansion 3 that makes the game run at 60 FPS at all time rather than only in menus. It is hitting that target framerate quite often in handheld mode when using the below OC but if you want a more stable 60FPS youll need more GPU OC. Only tested in handheld mode, but bear in mind that the framerate might become unstable if the screen is full of ghosts or effects or if new data is being loaded to memory.

Code:
handheld_charging_cpu=1785
handheld_charging_gpu=844
handheld_charging_mem=1600

To install it simply copy the exefs_patches folder to the atmosphere folder.

Credits to:
theboy181 on the yuzu Discord for the og patch and for info about it.
Enjoy.

Note: The 60FPS+LowerRes mod makes the game run at 60FPS as well as dropping resolution to 432p in handheld mode and 720p for docked mode, and as a result it doesnt need a lot of OC:

Code:
handheld_cpu=1785
handheld_charging_gpu=537
handheld_gpu=460
handheld_mem=1600
docked_cpu=1785
docked_gpu=921

To install it copy the exefs_patches folder to the atmosphere folder.

These mods will only works with version 1.2.1, 1.3.0 and 1.4.0 of the game.

Thanks for the mod! I'm not totally sold on the lower res one, but I will test both to see which works for me.

Cheers!

Does that mean over 6FPS of this game or those games would reduce the graphics and physics ?
They would need to disable SSR, simplify lightning and implement DR to go with 60 FPS at the best visual fidelity. Without strings the easiest what we can do is reduce resolution. 720p 60 FPS is using max clocks already. Ofc they could implement performance mode, but they decided not to maybe because of legacy reasons.

Unfortunately when a game is locked at 30 during development a lot of developers don't program in a way where they consider the time passed between two frames, so a lot of things would likely break at 60fps.

Yes thats true but in this case it isnt.
Everything i tested so far works correctly in LM3 at 60FPS.

Would I have to use ReverseNX for docked? For some reason it's relocked at 30 docked while it's unlocked at 60 on handheld
Well if you are using the lower res mod then you dont need to but if you dont you cant use ReverseNX since it doesnt work on Luigi Mansion 3.

So what can I do? It works completely fine in handheld, sure a little stuttering here and there (idm), but whenever docked, even the menus are locked at 30fps, almost as if the patch isn't recognised.

Any ideas on what I can do?
