any chance of a flashable bin for esp?
If you mean the new gentoo payloads then sorry no, that is totally impossible as they are now.
Just one of the gentoo payloads is over 10MB in size. The total size you can put on an ESP is only 2.4MB.
The reason why the gentoo bin files are so large is that they contain the bzImage and the initramfs.cpio.gz inside the payload file instead of loading them from the USB drive like the older loaders do.

Not having a bootable partition is not a problem as on the PS4 there isn't going to be a BIOS/UEFI trying to load it...

After flashing the image, the first post mentions to enlarge the partition to use all the available space on the USB stick.

Do this install gentoo on the usb or the internal ps4 HDD (if it's on usb is it possible to install on internal HDD)?

EDIT : i looked around and it's on usb but it is possible to install it on internal hdd but i'm not sure how i already installed psxitarch on my ps4 but it's a little different, i'm not sure what i'm supposed to name the file (should i name it linux.tar.xz even though the gentoo.img is ".gz") also what i'm i supposed to write instead of start-psxitarch.sh for gentoo.
might creat a new post for this question...

The ".gz" and ".xz" are extensions automatically appended to a file name when compressed with the gzip and the xz stream compressors, it's not a good idea to swap them. The "file" command utility, if you have any Linux distribution at hand, can tell you if a file was compressed with one or the other.

To install a distribution to the internal HD you probably need to carve some space on it to create and format a partition, install on it and investigate on how to load the kernel and what it needs to start "init" from the PS4 side.

The "start-psxitarch.sh" it's probably a Bash script used to boot/install Arch, even without looking at it I'm pretty sure, with some effort, can me modified to boot any distribution...
