Do I need a file or will it work out of the box? I ordered one today.

So even though it says it's for Switch and PC it works for Wii U?
I will give you the file when I can, but meanwhile, if you receive the adapter and the file is not ready, you can try with the nintendont tutorial. That already has a file in it and explains everything you need to do

Got the Mayflash in the mail, but none of it's working for me on the Wii U. I updated the firmware successfully on my PC. Then I put it in my Wii U, when it's on purple controller in Hid to Vpad it says Switch Pro, but when I apply the patches and exit my Wii U has a white screen and I have to power the console off/power it on. This happened about 5 times. Any other color won't show up in Hid to Vpad. So I don't know what to do. Is there additional files I need to make a dual shock 3 work?

In my sd card I have controllers/0079_18D2.ini on the root of the card.

If I put it on blue it says no controller connected in Hid to Vpad. You've been saying you're going to upload files since May it's not cool that you keep saying you're going to but never do.

Or if you just tell me how I'll make the file myself. My Dual Shock 3 is not working like you said it would at all.

Edit: If I leave the Mayflash plugged in the Wii U and turn it on, and select a controller to be the Wii U gamepad it says Press any button the USB-Controller you want to use. But when I press anything on the Dual Shock nothing happens. The Dual Shock 3 has one light on which tells me it synced to the Mayflash adapter, but it needs another file configuration to work I bet.

It does work with Gamecube injects just not anything else. Dunno why, but I didn't have to do anything but launch a gamecube inject select yes to do you want to use gamepad and I'm using the dualshock 3. It's probably because I have the .ini file in controllers. Just need systems that work with Hid to Vpad to work now.

Maybe I spoke too soon on Gamecube injects. One game worked, 2 others did not. No clue why. On the last two only the PS button worked mimicking the home button the Wii U to exit the game, no other input worked.

This is odd when I look at your first post on this thread I see nothing about the file.

SOOOO after looking at this app that lets us use our controllers with wii u games, i took a look at the network client, which, in my opinion, is unstable. So I purchased this adapter that lets me use my controllers wirelessly without the need of a pc needing to be on.

And with the help of other people and me, i created this compatibility list:

-Official Xbox One controller (doesn't matter which model it is as long as it is Microsoft brand)
-Official PS3 Sixaxis and DS3
-Official PS4 DS4 (both old and new models)
-Official Switch pro controller
-Official Joycons

And the list can continue bigger and bigger if you tell me if your controllers work with the adapter.

Please extract the following file into SD:wiiu/controller and set your adapter into blue mode

But when I quote you the last line you made about the file shows up, yet I can't access the file you mention. You have to make the file a .zip and hit upload a file below the post.

Not important really anymore to me though. I made my own that works perfectly. AFAIK it only works with dualshock 3s.

Is there no rumble for any controller connected using Magic-NS? What about wired connections through Magic-NS?
Is there rumble support for direct usb connections to PS4 controller?
Thanks.

I found this config file on a random youtube vid about a year ago, was hunting for one to get my 8bitdo N30pro to work through the mayflash adapter. Would you be able to tell if this is any different/better/worse than the one you shared?
I ended up not using it that much for Wii U at least, as any time I exited from a game to the Wii U home menu the controller would disconnect and I'd have to reboot the console to get HidtoVpad to work with it again, no idea if that's an issue with the config, hardware, or software.

Hello :) the file you posted is the same as mine, except that it doesn't include thumbstick press buttons

Seems to work exactly the same, still have the wii u freezing up whenever I exit from any game.
that is new, i have never heard about wii u crashing after leaving a game. i´ll investigate the problem for you. meanwhile, try updating the hb app, or using another method to enter hid to vpad
