@DarkAkuma I tested Ogre Battle with the different Preset ID as you mentioned in your latest post, but the Tarot Card glitch/effect unfortunately is the same. Tested on SNES Classic (not sure if this issue is fixed on Switch or not)

Thanks! Robin never did get back to me on testing that.

Bummer. But as mentioned in that post, I didn't expect it to make a difference with that bug, and the new ID is still the more correct one regardless.

@ 18Phoenix
There is a patch for An American Tail: Fievel Goes West. Have you tried it?

@ RadMcFist
Tried ActRaiser 2, Illusion of Gaia and Terranigma using the parameters and all are working.
However I can't get Soul Blazer to work even with the sugested parameters and without the patch. I'm using the ROM from the No-Intro ROM pack. The same ROM works on the SNES Classic.
I also tried some other games including some japanese translated games and registered the results on the compatibility spreadsheet.

@ DarkAkuma
Thanks for this incredible app.
But I have one doubt. When a new update arrives for the SNES Online App will we be able to keep our added games? Or will we have to start from scratch? Is there a way to update an existing database with new stock games but keep the custom ones?

Sure. It's included in the sfrom tool anyway. Without patch it even doesn't start.
With patch it starts but it crashes after starting the game. Too bad.
The demo that starts after waiting at the beginning runs fine.
It tried also the h1C, h2C and the PAL rom, no success :(
Always the complete app crashes.

Yes, there is no patch needed for SoulBlazer.
BUT ... if you use the sfrom tool you have to change the DotClockSpeed to 4656 AND the Preset ID aswell manually to 1000.
Without adjusting the Preset ID it doesn't start at all.

fix1 - SoulBlazer.jpg fix2 - SoulBlazer.jpg

That did the trick! Thank you! Now it is working.

Anybody else having issues with description? I’m using latest version of snes online and this tool.
One thing that I noticed is that sometimes the program may assign an already existing path/code when adding a new game. When this happens it will show two entries with diferent names but the box art shown to both will be the same and you will not be able to edit the game description. If this happened to you, delete one of the games and add it again so it can get another code.

To prevent this try importing just one ROM at a time. I've added almost 100 games and no problems so far.

So, I believe I followed the directions correctly, but none of my added 3 games are showing up on my switch. Any ideas what I may have done wrong or missed?

That's a very open question. Probably need some more details. What version of Switch firmware you running? Which version of CaVE did you download? Have you tried running through the instructions again?

Switch firmware 9.1 Atmosphere
Cave v1.0.2.1

I have retried. I am going to delete it all and restart over again

In case anyone's curious, the recently released translation patches for the amazing Ganbare Goemon 2 and 3 seem to work great on SNES Online without having to do any "fancy" tweeking.

Switch firmware 9.1 Atmosphere
Cave v1.0.2.1

I have retried. I am going to delete it all and restart over again
Maybe what's throwing you off is that the more recent Atmosphere releases (since 0.10.0, I think) changed the location you have to put your mod files in, not just for this mod but for every LayeredFS based mod. Instead of the "/atmosphere/titles/" folder you now have to put them in "/atmosphere/contents/".

Anybody else having issues with description? I’m using latest version of snes online and this tool.
It sorta goes without saying, but make sure you're putting the correct file in the correct location. There are different files for each one of the languages you can set the Switch to. You can also make sure that the file you are copying over to the Switch actually ha your edited descriptions simply by opening it in a decent text editor (like notepad+) or a json editor (an online one is easily found) and searching for your descriptions. I've added a crapton of descriptions for practically all of my 270+ SNES and 250+ NES games and haven't had any issues.

Does someone have the canoe patch for Arcus Spirits (Beta) [Arcus Odyssey] ?
Found that it exists but all related links are old and dead.
It's a patch by Bosco82.

Found the canoe patch for Arcus Spirits (Beta) thanks to nice help,
have overseen the link in the SNES Classic Mini CANOE Compatibility List which is still working:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...8t2aV5cVswYlnsdKxn9xoIW2Y/edit#gid=2014317767

Unfortunately for nothing, it still doesn't work :(

I believe I followed the directions correctly but I don't see the additional games I added when I try to play them on the switch. Any ideas?
