its entirely written from scratch in assembly.

there's a lot to do still, so it's a bit early to comment how exactly things play out, but the basics are starting to be in place now.

What happened exactly though? That post is vague AF...

Also, could you post the unfinished version of your patch for the game at least? Partial work is better than none at all, perhaps others will pick up the project or something from where you left off...

the original posts by Tom are now gone because he deleted his twitter account but basically what happened is that he finished translating Goemon 3 and the horde of SJW zealots assaulted him over the fact that there was a word in the script they didnt like.
tom deleted all his stuff and swore to never translate again, end of one of the most legendary rom translators, and this project along with it.

What word is SO bad that people felt justified to assault someone over?:/ Like wtf, I've seen crazy SJWs but nothing over just one word... I've seen some of the dude's work over the years, pretty good at it and all, pity...

Seriously? t******? As in the word trans used to use for themselves before 2010 for DECADES is now offensive? What the actualy fuck has the world come to?

Anyways, enough cancer for today, I'll just go enjoy Goemon 3 translated and have fun with the game instead of having nothing better to do with my time than take offense at ONE word used in passing... cheers!

This why SJWs and the like should just GTFO especially when they find everything in anything offensive anyways despite having almost zero interest in whatever the hell it is smh..

We'll be waiting for any decisions you'll make in the future Kitsu, I know for a fact that you won't let THOSE people kill your project for something so dumb and trivial.

Also, here's to Tom for giving his best for this project and here's hoping he'd recover soon from all of these unfortunate events.
