Hi.
I've got a second handed switch but unfortunately the SD card reader of the switch won't work and it has been online-banned (afaik). The guy who I bought the switch from immediately blocked me after selling me the device.
So, now, even though it seems impossible, I want to hack this device to play some games, which sounds even impossible as I don't know anyway how to do that without an SD card.
Is there a way to hack a switch without an sd card?
Please help me.
Thank you.

It is kind of impossible for me to replace the SD card reader as my country takes too much tax from the foreign items.
I have a jig to open recovery mode but that's it. :(

I think ReiNX used to be bootable without a SD card, simply by injecting the payload, but I don't know if it's still possible with later firmwares. You can find it here and give it a try.

Could give that a try to replace the sd reader. AFAIK, you need an sd card to launch anything honevrew related, but could be wrong.

Before buying & replacing the SD Card reader, be carreful of the Lego connector (https://gbatemp.net/threads/switch-...-no-sd-card-problem-no-format-problem.557211/)

I had the same problem last week : I replaced the reader twice, but the problem was the connector...
Some pins may be broken.

I don't think it's possible to inject a CFW w/o SD card, but I'm not an expert. :)

The SD reader is modular, no soldering required to replace. I would very much recommend you to replace it. It can't possibly cost that much compared to the price of a new Switch, right?
