hi to all. a year ago i was looking for a portable dock to take to my vacations, a guy posted one on fb and it was cheap...so I meet and buy this portable dock.

when i arrive home and connected to my tv...image display great but last 1 second, then black screen, try different tv with no luck, seller was a dick, says it works perfect for him and stop answering my messages.

Today i found it and try it again, same issue...i was going to throw it away but....if i can make it work is really convenient for my since original dock is so bulky......

so maybe anybody got the same issues....i see it working on youtube....I no is no original and is not convenient to use 3rd party docks,

My switch is on the latest firmware and banned =(

I´m using tx os. =)

thanks to all, help need!

I had the same issues with this third party stuff. On new TV's, especially from the last 2 years, I get the exact same outcome. Flickering screen, unstable image. On older TV's it magically works without problems. There is a whole Samsung TV thread in their support forum stating that problem. Some people mentioned that after their update march 19, these problems began. Samsung, Lg, Sony all of them know about the bug, but with Nintendo somehow blocking drivers (I think?) It won't get fixed.
So on older TV's or older firmware these adapters should work fine.
But the shell swap is a nice and convenient idea. Their was some time a magnetic shell from GuliKit, but it's not available (for me in Germany).

I could provide Links but they are all in German, I didn't found an English support forum where the problem is stated with third party dongles.

Be happy that your hdmi chip hasn't blown. A lot of third party docks destroyed them because of a FW update.

It's not the DP chip, it's a full hardbrick. The DP chip wouldn't cause that.
good point!
There is a good 3rd party dock though. At least there does not seem to be any bricking issues with it and the company did lots of testing beforehand to make sure it would be safe to use.

Their GripCase is also great, makes the Switch so much more comfortable to play on. I have both and they've become must have accessories for me. And the JumpGate fits nicely in the GripCase pouch.
