No fix for the moment, all depends on the game size, DC games eat into the 2gb space quick :P

Ploggy one more thing... seems everything works by adding space in Localstate folder besides gamecube games. When i first run super smash bros melle it works ok, then i decided to try mario party 5. before i play it i deleted ssbm from local state. But when i ran mario party i got black screen and only audio is emulated, after that every gamecube game act like this... Maybe is core related issue but in other build of retroarch i don't remember to have that problem.

I haven't encountered that problem myself, you can try asking on the discord https://discord.gg/KaaF9C someone there may have had the issue you have. :)

yeah i am having this exact problem even with animal crossing which is listed working. Question do i put the gamecube iso within local state or system like what path are you using? Another thing that happens is when i hear audio i cannot enter the retroarch menu? Are certain video settings needed? That’s what it makes me think...

this was exactly my problem thanks man!

question could we use hd packs for n64 with this? if so what dir?
Are you still having problems entering the menu? for some reason when you first install RA to the xbox the enter menu button combo isn't set by default... you have to set it manually. You can set it in.. Settings>>Input>>Hotkey Binds>>Menu Toggle Gamepad Combo.. I have mine set to L3+R3.

naw that got sorted. It was exactly what the one fellow said when trying to launch gamecube you need dx11 for the video.

Any idea about hd texture for n64? i tried but no luck so far
