As the title states, when I boot Just Dance 2016, my Wii goes to a black screen, the remote disconnects, and then a couple seconds after the remote reconnects but nothing is on screen. I have downloaded it for the second time so it should be a good rip. (This is an NSTC-U version on my 64GB SanDisk flash drive) All my other games (Wii Sports Resort, Wii Play, Mario Galaxy 2, Just Dance 1, Just Dance 2, & Just Dance 2020 all work under the iOS 251)

What I have done
1. Made the USB Loader GX force NTSC-U
2. Made sure USB Loader GX (Launched from Homebrew Channel) is up to date (Version 3.0 r1272)
3. Reinstalled the CIOSes from the wii.guide tutorial

I will attach my SysCheck below and see if you guys can help me out.

Please change the CIOS in your game settings, and put the CIOS 250 and relaunch USB LOADER GX?

I tried that, and now it shows a black screen and the remotes disconnect for a few seconds and then I'm kicked back to the Homebrew Channel

Hello,

what is the format of the usb support (fat 32, wbfs, NTFS) ??

Do you use "wii backup manager" to manage your games ??

Hello,

convert your usb key to fat32 with "wbfs2fat" ==>https://gbatemp.net/threads/wbfs2fat-py.291320/

Or format it as fat32 (recommend) with "" guiformat "" ==>http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?guiformat.htm

It may be that your USB key is the problem (prefer an external hard drive in ==> FAT 32 recommend <== and you will get better results).

I tried that, but now my Wii doesn’t even recognize the USB in USB Loader GX. Same with CFG and WiiFlow. I mean i would prefer to figure it out with USB Loader cause that’s my main program.

Hello.:)

In the USBLoader GX Settings -> Loader Settings please try to change the Loader´s IOS to 249.
And then please try again your USB Device.

And please check you connect the USB Device to the correct Port 0:

Thank you.:)

Just tried that, and now at the launch screen it says "Waiting for HDD" and then it counts down from 20 or something. Also tried both ports but mainly port 0 like you suggested.

EDIT: My Wii Channel for USB Loader seems to find the USB Drive but it freezes when I tell it to look for WIi Games (let me look around and see if I can get it to work)

EDIT 2: Still doesn't work :(

Do you maybe have any Chance of trying an HDD or other USB Stick/Drive please ?
If no USBLoader works it is really likely that your USB Stick did not work with the Wii.:(

To get sure we do not overlooked something:

- USB Stick
- correct USB Port 0.
- only ONE Partition on it
- recognized as MBR Drive and not as GPT

img_56e628d28bd5b.png.pagespeed.ce.QTfQCBsn-5.png img_56e6297886fee.png.pagespeed.ce.OAzLplkJBg.png

- tried with FAT32 and WBFS Format
- Games are always transferred with the WiiBackup Manager
- USBLoader GX v3.0 r1272 tried with IOS 58 and IOS 249 for Loading
- Game Loader´s IOS 249 (maybe you can try 250 too please).

Thank you.:)

I tried all of that and the game STILL won't work! :(
FYI I also just installed iOS 222 (with mixed 37 & 38) because others said it worked for them. Even that doesn't work.

Hello.:)

Tested with the NTSC Version of Just Dance 2016 and tried it with USBLoader GX v3.0 r1272.

With HDD
and USB Stick -

P1360150.JPG

Black Screen with Standard Settings.

Game Settings changed to

Video Mode to NTSC

and
Game Language to ENGLISH

Also please DISABLE the "Nand Emulation" Option (because the Save is getting corrupt every time you start the Game).

After a few Seconds the Health and Safety Screen appears and the Game boots normally.

Wow, even with all of your instructions, it still won't boot. I also realized that I can't boot and games with IOS 249 & IOS 150. Maybe it could be because I'm using a WIi2HDMI adapter?

Some of my info is different, so maybe that's the problem.
View attachment 194754

Your Game has only the Game Partition, thats why it is different from mine.:D

Now without the Update Partition:
Ohne5555 Titel-2.jpg

As you see it is the same.:)
Tried it and it also worked.

You said other Games are ok and works with the Default Settings from the USBLoader GX.
Is this correct please ?

Thank you.:)

Only to get sure, you have an SD Card in your Wii and the USBLoader GX is loaded from the SD Card.:)

Thank you.:)
Yeah, it is loading from the SD Card. I copied over the other games (Wii Play) and reset the USB Loader GX Settings. Now, when I hit play on Wii Play, it sends me back to the Homebrew Channel (Whatever the default IOS is, that's what I'm using)
