The issue here is related to bad perms on the index.html file.
You will need to download Python 2.7.
This can be fixed by doing the following:

Search wupclient mocha on Google, click the first link then right click Raw -> Save link as... -> Click OK (can't post links)

Open wupclient.py with a text editor and replace 192.168.178.23 with the IP address of your console and save it

Run the Homebrew Launcher and Mocha

Go back to the Wii U Menu

Open up a command prompt window

Type cd /path/to/the/file

Example: cd C:\Users\username\Downloads

Type py -2 -i wupclient.py

Use the appropriate command depending on the region of your console:

JPN: w.chmod("/vol/storage_mlc01/sys/title/00050030/1001200a/content/pages/index.html", 0x644)

USA: w.chmod("/vol/storage_mlc01/sys/title/00050030/1001210a/content/pages/index.html", 0x644)

EUR: w.chmod("/vol/storage_mlc01/sys/title/00050030/1001220a/content/pages/index.html", 0x644)

You should get the "chmod returned 0x0" response

The error code should now be gone

There is now a dedicated page for this at https://wiiu.hacks.guide/#/fix-errcode-112-1037 which has a version of wupclient.py that will ask you to enter your console's IP address instead of having to edit the .py script beforehand.

This problem happens when you delete the html file from the system memory before copying another html file.
What you should do to prevent this from happening is copying the html file without deleting the one that's already in the system memory beforehand. This way, it'll keep the correct permissions and you won't need to use wupclient to fix them.

Yep I too deleted instead of an overwrite. Explains a couple of icons too that I was having issues with.

If all else fails can always fall back to this py Script Thanks Again M8.

2.Load Mocha
3.Go into Browser and Type URL u.wiidb.de

Hold Shift Key right click C Drive open command window here.

Then just copy paste into command window like in previous post.

You also need Mocha Loaded on WiiU and on main Menu WiiU.

Python 2.7 installed on PC.

You know, I'm curious about one thing...since CBHC works by editing system.xml to boot the modified DS game on system startup, couldn't this same method be used to boot the browser on system startup instead? It'd circumvent the requirement to pay $6 for an exploit...

You seem to have saved the html page instead of the py file.

I have a question please. I want to try an alternate version of your tutorial. Instead of launching the Homebrew Launcher when launching the system browser. I want to launch the Homebrew Launcher when i load a page saved in the system browser (exemple : the official site of nintendo).
How can i do that ?
I want to this because i don't want to modify the system browser.
