great mod, the only issue i might have is that i'm pretty sure you can't release black / white kyurem from your box, so once you evolve them (using your method) you are stuck with them forever.

There is a DNA splicer item coded into the game (in pkhex) but I have no idea how to place it in overworld somewhere.

You get the items from the bargain merchant in stow-on-side after you beat the league for the first time.

Is there a easy way to check if the mod is active?
Im using Shield version and try to get Mew on Axew's Eye (snow storm) and havent encounter it.

The files are located like this on my SD card:
SD:/titles/01008DB008C2C000/RomFS/bin/archive
SD:/titles/01008DB008C2C000/RomFS/bin/message
SD:/titles/01008DB008C2C000/RomFS/bin/pml
SD:/titles/01008DB008C2C000/RomFS/bin/trainer

My Switch system = Firmware 9.0.1 / AMS 0.9.4/S

Did you move the gen 7 starters back to slumbering weald? They were on route 2 before but the encounter tables no longer list them there and haven't run into any. Also, are there any changes to shiny/ultra shiny frequency with this mod? Just wondering as I got a wild ultra shiny encounter that statistically I didn't think I'd ever see.

No i havent change any thing with the gen 7 starters, make sure you're only checking the low level area of route 2, the area before you get to Prof. Magnolia house. The area you reach after getting the water bike is considered high level and have different spawn table.

On route 2, they will only appear as hidden encounters and on slumbering Weald (also only in the lowered sections) they can be both overworld and rare spawn with rare spawn having a higher chance.

There were no change to shiny rate as there are option to change that yet. So you just got a really lucky/rare encounter.

Side Note: you can delete the "personal_total.bin" file in (RomFs -> bin -> pml -> personal) as the only thing that it does right now is give zacian and zamazenta a change to spawn with their held item, But this is causing issue with the galarian slowpoke encounter and sprites in the pc and will probably cause problem when the new expansions are out.

Side Note: you can delete the "personal_total.bin" file in (RomFs -> bin -> pml -> personal) as the only thing that it does right now is give zacian and zamazenta a change to spawn with their held item, But this is causing issue with the galarian slowpoke encounter and sprites in the pc and will probably cause problem when the new expansions are out.

FYI, this also fixed another problem I was having, which was some galarian forms like Mr. Mime and Yamask would not evolve with mod installed. Deleted personal_total.bin and they evolve properly now.

Thanks for the info, Imma probably stop doing modifications that affect that file from now on. From the next update onward you wont have to worry about deleting that file.

I got a weird bug, with this mod active I'm unable to use cheats. Anyone else having this problem?

Edit: Nevermind, checked my cheats and saw I had accidentally inserted an extra character earlier today when I was editing the file.

Back again with another problem :( haha.
Shield keeps freezing on route 1 with a clean save. I tested in sword and it worked fine. The only difference other than game versions is that Shield is in Spanish. Not sure if that plays a role or not or whether I should get further in the game before applying the mod.

Edit:
I meant route 1 not 2, corrected in main body.
Started new game in English and it still crashes on route 1.

Ok, so I did some more testing and...
1. Language doesn't matter it still crashes on me on route 1.
2. Clean install of Shield and deletion of tickets beforehand doesn't matter, still crashes.
3. I tried another similar mod from Game Banana and it worked. Apparently that creator had trouble with a route in Shield as well (route 3). Maybe something similar is happening for route 1.

Oddly enough and thankfully, it's flawless on Sword. Got a team of starters set up thanks to you! If by any chance you can take a look into route 1 on Shield, I'd greatly appreciate it. If not, no worries. I'm kind of interested in learning how to do this so I'll stick with Sword until I can learn how to edit tables on my end and maybe fix this little bug. Thanks again for your hard work!

Easiest way to go to route 1 and 2 and see if you can encounter either set of starters there. Or if you gotten to the end/post game, then go to the slumberingweald and check for gen 7 starters in the early grass areas.

So i have no idea what caused it or how ive manage to fixed it. I download the file i posted here and restarted my shield game and indeed i crashed after the slumber weald part of the story, though it wasnt right away so that lead me to think it was something with the "personal_total.bin" file.

1. deleted "Personal_total.bin", still crash though at a different point this time. So it could be something wrong with one of the spawn.
2. Noticed that my total spawn chance for route 1 overworld in shield is only 95% whereas my sword is 100%. I changed that to match sword but still crashed.
3. removed all overworld spawn and it didnt crash anymore so i started to add each spawn back 1 by 1 to see which one of them caused the crash.
4. Got all the way to the last pokemon and still didnt crash anymore.

Long story short... the file is seem to be fixed and is exactly how i have it at step 2, even though it crashed at step 2 before. I've ran around route 1 for about 30mins to get all the pokemon that could spawn to spawn and they all spawned fine, even the rare spawn ones.

Interesting, it might have been a corrupted upload. I've had it happen with simple word files for my research papers. Thank god I always have like 3 copies! I'll go ahead and try out the new file and cross my fingers. Thanks again for all the hard work, I greatly appreciate it!

Edit: Ok, so after running around route 1 for about an hour I'm gonna say it has been fixed! Even switched back to Spanish and no problems whatsoever. Thanks again!

@Zaintne hey. In the edits in the first post you said you added in kanto and Alola forms but I couldn’t find where they spawn in the encounter Documents. Were those updated along with everything else?
The different forms are denoted as "-1", "-2" in the tables. Kanto is the default, Alolan next (if there is one) and then Galarian. So for example "Meowth" in the tables is Kanto, "Meowth-1" is Alolan, and "Meowth-2" is Galarian

Does the mod add difficulty during the game or it only change the encounter rates?
Do you think a save of the game played with this mod will be compatible with the future DLC?
