I have Pokemon Sword as a Cartridge and play online with it on the OFW of my Nintendo Switch.

Now, I would like to clone a Pokemon and trade it online.

How can I do this? I think, I should transfer my savegame to a CFW and clone it there. However, how will I be able to transfer that cloned Pokemon back to the OFW? Without transfer, I wont be able to trade that clone online, right? Any ideas for this?

I can trade them offline from my OFW Switch to my second CFW switch. There I can freely use PKHEX on the savegame.
I only used it ones to add mew...

So is it correct, that in that lan-play tool everyone could play with me, even if he does not have Nintendo Switch Online? Original Firmware and Custom Firmware could play together?

@Zkajavier
My only concerns is whether do they implemented a similar checksum mechanism to detect any mod on saves just like what they did on the 2 splatoon titles and Animal crossing. But so far as I know, running checkpoint on cfw or injecting saves using hacdiskmount should impose minimal risk, especially on the latter one where no traces are leftover as all operation is done on PC. I would like to know if you have did any attempts on the pkm titles.

    One of the sites that weren't blocked on the school's network was some file uploading sites. I would upload some games, write down the URL and take it to school one day.

    It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
