The default overlay for GBC is green (as I suspect should be the case only for GB), and it messes up the colors completely. Is there some other frame I can edit/crop to get the proper effect, or should I wait for a new release? In the Vita-1000 version, that is.

now team libretro has added a new feature that can save Dir overrides. Means you can copy ROMs (by a same core) into folders to use different Overlays.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

eg.
ROMS/GBC/PM red.gb (core "gamebatte" and overlay "gb.3x" loaded )
&
ROMS/GB/PM gold.gbc (core "gamebatte" and overlay "gbc.3x" loaded )

the config above can be saved separately (by folders ) now, no need to change overlay you want in menu at every time.

when running GB games (gambette) i'm getting a yellow GBC frame. however, scrren is not scaled down to fit the overlay, it's edge to edge on the actual psp screen?x/y position says 240/32 and resolution 480/432 (3X). Why isn't it scaling down the screen size? I I put yes to integer scale it shrinks the screen down but it's offset by some pixel in vertical position.

What to do?

Turn on integer scale, set res to 480*432. Then turn off "integer scale", or position settings will not work. I dont know why, but it is indeed.

Hi,
Your work is great and I'm really excited about this. at last someone made it for psvita. thumbs up.
I'm having a problem where the display is not properly inside the frame. it looks like it's bigger than the frame thus resulting a crop. how can i fix this?

Hi. I used your overlays but I have a little problem. The screen is shifted down in all games.

here I cant load pic from imgur in China. but all the problems is about screen settings. Directly copy the lines below into "retroarch/config/Gambatte/Gambatte.cfg" if you dont want to manually set them.

video_scale_integer = "false"
custom_viewport_width = "480"
custom_viewport_height = "432"
custom_viewport_x = "240"
custom_viewport_y = "32"

OR USE THE OVERLAYS IN #36, ALL OF THEM ARE CENTERED. BECAUSE I'M ALSO TIRED FOR ADJUSTING THEM. DM IT

Here I've done a set of overlays for internal palettes last month, especially for "DMG", "GB Pocket" and "GB Light" in some different params, mainly for my trial. I'm LAZY to rewrite the instruction in English, so here is a "readme" below translated from Chinese. Ask me if there are any problems.

Notes on the Pal prefix overlay:
1. All overlays in this article correspond to the "Gambatte" kernel
——————————————————————
2. Pal (Palette) The overlay is dedicated to the GB mode in the "Gambatte" kernel. The pre-settings (that is, the options that need to be turned on for all pal prefix overlays) are as follows:

--Main Menu
---- Settings
--- --- Video (Video)
-------- Aspact Ratio = Core provided
-------- Integer Scale = On
-------- Bilinear Filtering = Off
-------- Custom Aspect Ratio "Width / Height" = 3x
——————————— —
---- Quick Menu
------ Options
-------- Emulated Hardware = "GB"
-------- GB Colorization ( GB coloring) = "internal"
-------- Color Correction Mode = "accurate"
——————————————————————— —
3. Explanation of the corresponding parameters in the file name:
3.1: Pal_ "DMG; GBP; GBL": Corresponds to the type of Internal Palette;
3.2: "cc": If there is, set "Color Correction" to "always", otherwise set to "gbc only" or "Off";
3.3: "D **": If yes, set "Dark Filter Level" to "Percent **"
Note: Opa * at the end of the file name is the overlay The transparency of the grid lines is for reference only and does not need to be set.

3.4: The corresponding positions of the above settings are as follows:
--Quick Menu
---- Options
------ Internal Palette ) = GB DMG (DMG) / GB Pocket (GBP) / GB Light (GBL)
------ Dark Filter Level = Percent *
------ Color Correction = Off / always
