Hey guys, just came across this post on reddit and was wondering if I could get more detail into this. It has to do with Pokemon Sw/Sh

"Exactly; if you use emuMMC, you can backup, edit, and inject your save, then go back to stock sysNAND with that very same edited save data.

As long as you aren't actively editing the RAM (Switch doesn't have BootNTR plugins, so at least there's that unavailable), there should be no way to tell if you hacked in that Earth Power Charizard or got it from someone else. If you edit in perfectly-legal Pokémon (like 31 IVs, fully-EV trained, legal Egg moves, etc.), then there's no way to tell if that was 'hacked' or not."

I have a hacked Switch with Atmosphere with Emummc. I also have a Switch Lite (clean obvs) that I would like to move my switch to if possible. Any information is helpful, Thanks!

This is somewhat what I'm looking for...

I played the leaked version for a couple of days on EmuMMC, but I already had preordered the game, so when I received it, I tried to run it on the stock sysNAND and to my surprise, it didn't load my save, I don't know if the game ID is different between regions, because as far as I know, the leaked version is EU, and my cart is US, so I'm trying to figure out how to continue playing my already started save on sysNAND.

The way I do it is install/setup incognito on my EmuMMC to remove my console serial key that way I'll never connect to Nintendo's services while using WIFI.
Do all my shiny/perfect IV cheats, dump my save and then use ftp if I need pkhex for anything. After that I switch to cfw sysnand with 90DNS enabled ofc and use jksv to inject my save with my legit cart. Thats literally all I do under cfw sysnand

Using hombrew in the sysnand may get you banned u know
Maybe if somebody created a tool that can inject the save as a rcm payload we can do it safe and clean

If you have the same users on emunand, sysnand and your switch lite, what is stopping you from using the systems native save transfer system to transfer the save from emunand to switch lite then switch lite to sysnand?

No, it doesn’t work that way. SysMMC and EmuMMC are separate. That means the saves are separate too, they’re not shared.

Completely expected result. SysMMC doesn’t have access to the saves stored on your emuMMC.

So far there’s only three ways to migrate a save from emuMMC to SysMMC.
  1. Run homebrew in SysMMC and import the save
  2. Manually inject the save to your SysMMC with a computer by mounting your SysMMC offline through RCM via hacDiskMount
  3. Do a local save transfer from your emuMMC to another Switch, then transfer back again while in SysMMC

If you have the same users on emunand, sysnand and your switch lite, what is stopping you from using the systems native save transfer system to transfer the save from emunand to switch lite then switch lite to sysnand?
That would require allowing the emuMMC to access internet as verification is needed even for local save transfers.

So far its only a theory I have been using checkpoint ever since I had the sxos pro from release date and never got banned. Basically I did tons of Xenoblade 2 & Hyrule Warriors save editing all of last year. Not to mention I use 90DNS while using it. This was before the sxos even implemented their own stealth mode. But yeah an rcm payload for injecting saves would be nice. If you are too concerned about a dirty nand then just make a clean nand backup before using checkpoint. Restore the clean one whenever you decide to use an alternative method.

Lots of folks say cfw sysnand can get you banned which it can used incorrectly, but its more of a precaution warning to general users to prevent "accidental" online connectivity under cfw mode.

And that is the same as you method #3 or is it something else?

I'm sure Nintendo has ways of telling whether you edited the save data. I wouldn't risk putting it on your sysNAND.

I think the safest thing you could do is use your emuNAND and pkhex to gen whatever mons you want, then make a new save on your Switch Lite and trade your hacked mons over to it.

That way if you get caught with invalid pokemon on your Switch Lite you can at least just say that somebody traded it to you and you were only trying to play legit.

Yes, though if you’re just going from Console A to Console B you only need one transfer.

So I could locally transfer my save from my Switch lite to my Emmunand switch and then back again? I have incognito on my Emmunand switch so how would I be able to do this when it needs to connect to my nintendo account? If I remove Incognito, is it my account thats at risk of ban or the console itself?

Some more clarification please :)

Your emummc and sysnand use different folders for profiles, and thus, for saves.

Hi guys ,

after reading several threads I believe this the scenario I am looking for can someone who has experienced this please confirm I got my jig today will be attempting this tonight :

My setup :2 switches one patched (lite) and one unpatched legacy switch ,two game cartridges sheid and sword

now my plan is on the modified switch start a new gamesave file get the save to pc edit according to needs restore this file to the game and move this modified file to the patched switch and use this to host some maxraids online

so will this result in a ban of patched switch . Or will a modified save doesn’t work on a patched switch ,Also I will be doing all this for the first time ... my plan is simple to host shiny raids By directly editing the den

also let me know any other precautions needed

Just decrypt your save from the unpatched unit and edit and then trade to the patch unit, this way you have one unit to play online and one that is completely offline.

Yepp that’s true but my intention is not to edit Pokémon but the dens as I want to host soecfic raids hence I wanted to make sure a save transfer to an unpatched switch in this case lite is ok to use online
