not sure what you mean, but there's an adapter to have a digital signal (optical plug in) for a receiver. you can plug it in with hdmi plugged in. it looks just like that, but it just has an optical out (no video cables). in fact, that's what I use, since my receiver is pretty old (no hdmi inputs).
Because the one with the white sticker on the side has a switch on on it component or composite
