i was wondering ever since i bought it if the switch lite will ever be hacked. now that i know the others were only hacked because of hardware modification in the joycon rails then i would think they will never be able to since the lite literally doesn't have any joy con rails. it would have to be software based so i'm not holding my breath. i'm glad i'm getting a unpatched switch fat system.

I think there was footage of a switch lite booting up SXOS, real or not I don't know. Probably a modchip.
i forgot about hard modding. hacking switch lite for people that doesn't want to take it apart and put a chip in.
Yes, but out of all the recent consoles, it seems to be the one that’s the least hackable or not worth trying. I don’t think there’s any console that’s unhackable, but the Xbox one is close to that.
i played an xbox one game that FORCED me to update it. not suggested i update it. FORCED. well i mean i could of just not played it but then why buy it if i'm not going to play it.
yeah there's no rule or law that says they can't do that.
If you’re not gonna play a game because it forced you to update that’s a whole new level of crazy. The only thing I care about not forcing me to update is my iPhone and iPad, so they can stay jailbroken.
Hacks that don’t require hardware modification will likely never happen on firmwares 8.1.0=<.
All the important software is rock solid.
