Does anyone can help please ? I'm searching for 11.3.0-36E_ctrtransfer_o3ds.7z and there's no source anymore for it.

You can get 11.5 from the guide https://3ds.guide/ctrtransfer and 9.2 from an archived version of the guide. If you wanted 11.3 specifically you'd need to have a console on that firmware and dump the CTR image.

Yes I was searching for 11.3 specifically and of course I don't have a console to dump the CTR image :( Anyway thanks for replying !

Edit : Found 9.2 thanks...

Just upgrade to the latest firmware. There's really no point in staying behind.
That could be an option if I were the one to be using the console... but the one to be using it is a 6 yo child.
WiFi is required for lan-play so I will set the EULA agreement value to 00.00 to block updates to remove those annoying update alerts. That is the reason why I choosed to use ctr-httpwn.

Downloaded and seeding =)

EDIT: It didn't work. I softbricked my New 2DS XL. Now it is fixed thanks to a clean NAND backup I made in the past.

Why don't you want the console to be upgraded again? Just LAN play? Iirc ctr-httpwn also bypasses checks for that so I don't think that'll help.

As far as I know (tell me if I'm wrong) games that require a higher firmware doesn't open. I mean... this is the normal procedure. That's why I was searching for a way to bypass that requirement.

What do you mean with "ctr-httpwn also bypasses checks for that"?

@t33st33r, the reason you bricked from the downgrade is because n2DSXL isn't compatible with 3DS firmware lower than version 11.4. That was its original launch firmware, which came a specialized camera sysmodule not found in older versions.

You'll need to fix this with 11.5 CTRTransfer, update to latest 11.13E, and forget about ctr-httpwn as that's outdated / no longer needed.

By that, I meant that ctr-httpwn also bypasses update checks for online play, letting you play online on older FWs (though I'm pretty sure Luma does that already).

EDIT: Also, as far as I know, ctr-httpwn only affects online update checks, not game-related firmware checks, though I could be remembering wrong. With ctr-httpwn you also have to relaunch it every time you restart your DS so I don't think it's the best idea to leave it in the hands of a kid.

I had that as unique option in case I didn't have a NAND backup. I restored the NAND backup. Thanks anyways.

In that case it doesn't need ctr-httpwn.
The console will not play online. I think it could not try to play online if the EULA agreement hasn't been checked ON.
It could be great if it parental control could block the EULA agreement.

...or turning read-only the EULA agreement value. Is there some way to do so?

I don't really understand the problem. If all you want is to be able to enable wireless for local wireless multiplayer, but without letting the console go online, you could just not set up a wifi connection (or delete the existing one once you've updated.) Then it can play local multiplayer but won't go online.

Here's an idea. Why don't you just agree to the EULA and be done with it?

I am really confused about your issue here. Just agree to the EULA and play online, there's nothing of value not agreeing to the EULA or trying around about ways to not agree to the EULA. There's no risk playing online while running a CFW and or playing games via CIAs.

I use FTP to upload CIAs to the console. Additionaly I am searching for a way to update my homebrew directly from the console.

As far as I know every single time you go online the console sends telemetry (games installed, tickets, etc.) to Nintendo servers.
This can cause a ban. If the kid gets used to playing online it could be bad because the console will be banned and so I will have to explain why the console could no more play online.

You can literally turn that off in the settings. Also, no one had been banned for playing CIAs online. It’s pretty safe to play online with CFW and CIAs, I’ve been doing it for years now and my systems are the most modified you get.

This is entirely inaccurate. Nobody has been banned for simply installing CIAs and playing online. Your child will be fine as long as they don't use cheats which are another thing entirely. Just agree to the EULA already.

Yeah but nothing actually prevents you from just deleting the wifi settings once you're done with that, and before handing them the console.
