You can buy a second hand 3ds for like 450 brl or less, i've played mario kart online on a hacked new3ds and still had no problems, but sure there's a risk; switch lite is way cheaper, you can find it for like 1300brl, if you dont care about its drawbacks, personally i play on my switch only in mobile mode, because i think the games look pretty bad on the big screen, so would make no difference for me.
I hope i made myself clear, sorry for my bad english.

He doesn't want to play with pirated games. Hes concerned that piracy would shorten the life span of a console.

For sure I prefer a Dock Nintendo Switch. Play on TV is more fun. I have strong fear to buy it second handed, you know, here in Brazil when we buy a second handed thing, we meet on shopping, should be hard to test the online functionalities of the console. I fear to buy a banned console. Then I want to try to buy a brand new. I cannot even count with the wi-fi of my cell phone to test it on Shopping and either the wi-fi from the shopping, both already failed me in the past several times.

I want to play online. I have absolutely no interest If the console have no online. Also, I not want a pirated thing. I not want to take the risk of a ban.

I just want to trade pokemon online and battle pokemon trainers online... To play a offline thing I prefer emulators...

My bad, i dont think so, the two best selling consoles (PS2 and NDS), were hacked, and dont seems to have affected their lifespan.

And you guys think that in December 2021 will be really released a new Nintendo console to replace Nintendo Switch to fight PS5 ?

This is my mayor concern. A lot of people is talking about those rumors on internet, specially YouTube channels...

Some crazy people is even saying rumors that in December 2020 will be already released the new console to replace Nintendo switch, but, this already I think is impossible. Not make any sense. But 2021 maybe is true. This make me very worried. And I have no courage to buy a Nintendo console on release date. I did it, I buy a Wii-U on release date and regretted it so much... In that time I buy a Wii-U for R$ 1900,00, a lot of money and spend a whole year in debt... SO sad... I not want to regret it again... I have no confidence on Nintendo. Same thing happened on Nintendo 64, I buy it on release date, not remember how much money anymore, but that was a lot of money during a terrible monetary crisis on Brazil , Nintendo 64 I paid on 24 payment, 2 yeas on debt...

So you want to buy a console because of games that were not even announced? While you are poor as fuck? Does that make sense to you?

I am not talking about GAMES, I am talking about the support of Nintendo Switch. I am talking about the rumors of a new Nintendo console being release to replace the Nintendo switch.

If you read carefully my texts you will understand.

Define "support". Consoles don't simply stop working after certain date. If it's about online, even 3DS and Wii U services are still working.

Well, I am buying it for the sake of Pokemon, If be released a new console, it is over, no Pokemon games on Nintendo switch anymore...

Yeah, now I noticed your point. I am talking about the release of new game indeed. If a new console be released they will just stop release games on Nintendo switch and the hope of get good games is over.

On Nintendo 64 I spend 2 years on debt and I liked only 4 games: The 2 Zelda games on Nintendo 64 and the 2 Pokemon stadium games. To be on debt 2 years to enjoy just 4 games are terrible.

Wii-U was worse, I NEVER liked any Wii-U games. When Breath of wind was released I already sold my Wii-U. I buy my Wii-U on 2013 and never liked any game. I sold it on 2016 and them in 2017 they released Breath of wind and them I regretted to have sold it, but,. The Wii-U became 3 years almost without use on my house, an when I decided to sell it they released a wonderful game. I guess I have bad luck on Nintendo console. I guess If I buy a Nintendo Switch in the moment that I buy it they will stop release games for it.

You understand now why I am so worried ?

I guess you understand me more than I understand myself, bodefuceta, In guess I have really troubles in how wrote my on troughs and how explain myself. and you really have a funny nickname, who is not brazilian not notice it.

I have really a bad experience with Nintendo consoles, but unfortunately I love Pokemon games and just cannot stay away from Nintendo things. Also I love Mario and Zelda. I have a PS4 and I never enjoyed any PS4 game, I really regret to have bought a PS4. I spend more time playing Nintendo games on emulators than playing my PS4, but, I wanted to play online, and I cannot do it on emulators.

I understand. I even sympathize with you, also have the feeling we are from a similar time and place, I had a similar experience with the N64. I wonder if you experienced it's awesome multiplayer games back in the day.

I do have a Switch. It was cheaper for me because I asked a brother who was in the USA to buy it. The hackable model, from around 2 years ago. I would absolutely not buy it for Pokemon. Heck, the only reason I would buy it is local multiplayer as I still have friends who enjoy that.. The good single player games aren't so great and there are a lot of good stuff you can play on more cheaper and versatile platforms like a ryzen 2400g PC. I advise you not buy it. You sound like a cool person, feel free to PM me if you'd like to talk further.

Sorry bad english

Is true that Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3Ds pirated can play online any game just like a real game ?

I am saying about piracy, you can play a pirate game both in Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3Ds online, connected in Nintendo Network without the risk of BAN ?

I do not have a Nintendo Switch or a Nintendo 3Ds, I wanted to buy one of those consoles to play Pokemon games online, makes trade online and use all features of Nintendo Network. I a 42 years old but I love Pokemon games. I really dislike the anime, but, I love those games. I play all of them in emulators, but, I wanted to play online, fighting against real human opponents...

I am worried because If this really true about the piracy, I guess Nintendo Switch will not have a long lifespawn, here in Brazil a Nintendo Switch cost R$ 2700,00, I can buy a car with this money, I wanted to buy a Nintendo Switch in December, when I finish some bill, everything that I have in my life I buy in 12 installments, and always finish the installments in December then buy again and get in debt again for a year

"installments" not sure If is the correctly word, I buy thing in a 12 payments from a whole year... each payment a month. is the word correctly ? Such kind of behaviour esist in USA ? or in USA everyboy always pay cash payment in

I fear to buy a Nintendo Switch in December and then next year Nintendo stop production of Ninteyndo Switch and then release a new console.

I love NIntendo but in 2 times in my life Nintendo hurt me.

I buy a long time ago Nintendo 64 in 24 monthly payments and then Nintendo finished with Nintendo 64 and released Gamecube and I not have even paid 7 payments... Same thing happened with Wii-U I buy it and just some few months after it Nintendo gave up about wii-u....

Does you guys think that Nintendo will gave up soon about Nintendo Switch and release a new console soon ?

You guys think that is worth to buy a Nintendo Switch ?

And a Nintendo 3ds ? you guys think that still worth buy it in 2020 ? A New Nintendo 2DS XL cost R$ 1500,00 and since my unique objective is play pokemon games online, maybe is worth buy it yet nowadays ?

Thank you very much for reading this text and answering my question
If you play pirated Switch games online you are going to get banned 100%. 3DS is pretty safe to use online though. People who played leaked games online early, used public headers on flashcarts like Sky3DS and Gateway, and those who cheated online are the ones that got banned on 3DS. And there have not been any 3DS bans in a long time.

What's a public header? I've had my sky3ds since 2015 and haven't been banned.

3DS games have a header/certificate which they use to go online. Unlike the Switch, there are no checks for 3DS titles when the header and game do not match. However if multiple people are using the same header, especially simultaneously, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize these are hackers. Public headers are header files of 3DS games that are publicly used and shared.

more funny discussion. i spent more than 300 dollars in switch games, it's very common around my friends. some of them consumed one thousand bucks at least.
the pirate games is not good for the switch ecological system sustainable development while the exploits were not .

i perfer to use mods and cheatcodes in CFW, and use other savedatas as well.

Oh okay, that’s why I used to be careful when wondertrading on Pokémon back then, thought I’d get busted by Nintendo.

Only online. Haven't had to do that with local play.
True but most ppl are gonna want to play with others competitively and you'll need to subscribe for that.
If he wants to trade pkmn to himself with another switch he owns or a friend that lives near him then yes you only need local

switch-lan-play would help with that

Edit: if not, I thought there was another LAN over WAN homebrew but I can't spare the time to do more than respond atm.
