There is no such thing as a "sure ban". Certain things have more risk than others but CFW & homebrew all carry a chance of getting you banned.
Thank you for your reply. Is there anyone here on the same boat as me and has not gotten banned? SX OS CFW with homebrew only?

Using homebrew only on CFW SysNAND (Atmos) offline. Playing online Physical Game OFW.. Not banned...... yet.

it's finally come to me today, I using edion and pkhex to edit pokemon save file. I though it gonna be safe since I still using legit game to online and sysnand. But today, like I worry after pokemon's first update. I got banned. I'm not blaming either of those software, I just want ppl to becareful with that

What CFW are you using? Are you connected to the internet while using homebrew? and lastly, are you playing online while on CFW or OFW?

Hi Khim, mind if I ask what homebrew are you using and how long have you been aboard?

I finally got banned last week after using cfw on sysnand for over a year. I suspect the main culprit was because I downloaded game files for installed nsps from Nintendo a week ago lol (after installing some nsps it had corrupted data or something which the download fixed) but it is possible I could have been flagged earlier

I made an emunand partition on my sd card and removed my serial number using incognito. On emunand I didn't use 90s DNS and when I went into retroarch I disabled airplane mode to use the joycons but I forgot to delete my internet settings and was connected to wifi. I could tell that I received some news updates on my emunand. I am worried that even though I used incognito on my emunand I might still get banned because I was testing retroarch nsp and crashed sometimes.

Could I still get banned or be flagged for connecting the emunand even with incognito? I figure they could still use my battery number, joycon number or something or use the error logs (I dont know if error logs specify what type of .nsp or app you use). Been playing pokemon online on sysnand a day later and still not banned.

I use my CFW on sysnand all the time to utilize save editing via checkpoint and I am not banned yet.
I always enable airplane mode before I boot into cfw on sysnand.

Although Incognito does not wipe everything that gets sent to Nintendo, no one has been banned for using Incognito since it has been released.

I've been using SX OS since it was released, not banned.

How:

- I've been using SX OS on NAND before EMUNAND was released, I just made sure to always keep my Switch offline.
- Since EMUNAND was released, I only used NAND to play my original games online.
- I only use XCI, I only installed an NSP once
- I disabled sending info to Nintendo in Switch settings, if you're from Europe I think this is important

Hi BlackWhiteXY, did you use any homebrew on SYSNAND? Mod your save file?

Question: If I wanted to dump my save from a hacked Switch to a legit Switch, will my legit Switch be banned for just using homebrew to transfer a save file? (Have there been any cases of bans because of it?)

The save isn't modified in any way. I just want to continue a playthrough on my non-hacked Switch and keep its progress intact with no issues.

Just cut out the homebrew and use the local save data transfer feature.

But if I recall, that requires both to be connected to the internet. And I haven't really gotten my hacked Switch connected to the internet and I don't want it to be risked being banned.

And can only be transferred between users that are linked to the same Nintendo Account which both aren't linked to each other on the same account.

Then the save would have to be modified then no?

Just dumping the save would be modified? I mean, I'm just trying to do a simple dump and transfer using only checkpoint from my secondary Switch to my main Switch.
I dunno, I just figured to get that save working on another Switch with a different user it would have to be injected or modified or something with checkpoint, could be wrong

i dont know why tv manufactures put the hdmi ports in dumb locations so the cables have to stick out, and then down, putting strain on the ports. Instead of having the ports along the bottom edge of the tv facing downwards.
