Nintendo Switch users may soon get the chance to experience a series of highly regarded games, in the form of BioShock: The Collection, which has just been rated for release on the platform. Found via the Taiwanese video game ratings board were filings for Nintendo Switch ports of BioShock 1 and 2 Remastered, as well as BioShock Infinite: The Complete Edition. Considering the track record of Taiwan's ratings board, an official announcement is almost certain to follow soon, with more details. Previously, BioShock: The Collection released in 2016, for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and features visual enhancements to the original games.

I dont see this as a negative as long as the ports are good, taking good games on the go is always a win especially for people who missed out on some good last gen games

Nintendo finally getting good games.
Yea shame its the games we already got to play on the ps3/360.

Years later, nintendo catch up, while everyone else moves on.

This has always been my problem when it comes to Nintendo, due to them been cheap using cheap hardware but focus on gimicks to make its shit seem better.

It always lacks the games first time round, you end up waiting years for them to release hardware that will run it.

But is it really worth buying a console to pay full what for games you can get for under £5.

Naaa, but i can see how the fanboys are excited, the type that only play Nintendo and have slated the other systems for "boring, graphic whore, violent" games..... yet now all excited that theyre finaly coming to nintendont.

Fyi majority beyond first paragraph is not targeted at you directly ;)

I've got several copies of Bioshock and Bioshock 2 on 360 (different regions)
Got Infinite on 360, got all 3 on PS3 and steam, got the Bioshock Collection on Xboner.

You could call me a Bioshock fan but in all honesty, I'm not waiting to pick up a switch copy and get a switch just to play it.
Besides, I have little to no interest in Nintendo after the Wii haha.

Please actually have all the data on the cartridge this time!
Incredibly doubtful. 2K are cheapskates, they probably won't even spring for Panic Button to port, which means it won't be optimized.
  • At a theoretical 40-70 gigs for all 3 games, that would require the new 64 GB cartridge, which isn't even out yet.
  • That would leave us with either a 16 GB or a 32 GB cartridge.
  • Either get Bioshock 1 or Bioshock Infinite would fit on the cart, with the rest being downloaded.
  • 2K would be crazy to offer this at $59.99. My guess is 49.99, with a price drop within 6 months.

Wow, people shitting on Switch for not being as powerful as PS4/XB1

Wow, really? This is news to me, someone stop the presses, a portable/hybrid console is less powerful than the other ones.

Gee, never would've figured that out!
