Hello again my beautiful community!

I come to you with another question!

I have been trying to beat Battletoads on RetroArch with the FCeumm Core.

I am having a lot of issues with stage 3, but I am almost beating it... so I decided to try and practice it for a while by using save states.

But after saving a state, I cannot figure out how to load a state!

Can someone please help me figure out how to Load a save state on RetroArch on my Switch?

I have never had this issue on PC on on other modded consoles.

The quick menu does not show a Load State button, only Save State/State Slot, and Undo Save State.

Thank you in advance!

Edit: Nevermind this post, if someone wants to delete it they can, I just fixed it and I don't know how...

The load state button was missing from my quick menu and I dont know why...

I closed RetroArch and opened it back up, and then the Load State button was there.

Edit #2: Okay so now I am having the same issue again....

Basically after I create a save state... RetroArch tells me that the save state was successfully created...

But then when I try to load the save state, I open the RetroArch Quick Menu, and there is no Load State button....

Any ideas??

You could try mapping load state to something like a trigger or stick click
Yeah I tried that before...

It doesn't do anything when I press the hotkey for Load State, I tried the Default key which is F4 and I tried 2 other keys I added.

None of the buttons do anything.

Anyways, I have come to the realization that this ONLY happens with the FCEUMM Core for me. I tried deleting the core and updating it, reinstalling it, etc.

Can someone else tell me if they use the FCEUMM Core in RetroArch if their "Load State" button is showing up in the Quick Menu or not?

So then I can narrow it down to a Core Issue, or RetroArch issue, or an installation issue.

Thanks a bunch!

P.S - I just realized, It does not ONLY happen with FCEUMM, it happens to me with ANY NES Core. but ONLY NES Cores.
