A Pokémon Direct has been announced for January 9th

I expect them to talk about pokemon home and pokemon sleep, and possibly announce the next iteration for november 2020, DP remakes perhaps, or pokemon lets go Gold/Silver remakes.

I feel like it's too early for them to announce a remake...
I don't think there's gonna be anything good, unless it's patches for S/H, which it probably isn't, so it'd be better to go pokemon home and sleep

My guess is just announcing an update to Sword/Shield to include more Pokemon and also HOME, then just pointless padding the rest of the time... or it could be some Mythical being added for Gen 8 since we still don't have any released after all and it's about time they got added in (Meltan is Gen 7, not 8, for anyone confused)...

The GBA games playable on switch (because they need more ports, it is nintenport afterall)

It can go all sorts of ways, but one thing is for sure, it will go downhill unless they announce pokemon stadium 3.

Welp, maybe a glimpse at the 2020 iteration of Pokémon games (I guess it'll be more Let's Go games) and then an announcement that they'll add a legendary Pokémon or two via the 100th dynamax den found in the wild area (the one in those ruins that serves no purpose as of yet).

And we might see another kind of spinoff. I'm not getting my hopes up for a Pokémon Snap 2, though...

They better have a normal direct for the rest of the people. I don't care about Pokémon and they shouldn't have special directs because the games are out now.

Pokemon Home AND Sleep news..

A update patch that'll probably fix bugs, no added content *we already knew they wont* just enable the some legendary pokemon, gen 7 and 1 starters along with Alola and Kanto version of pokemon already in game but locked to be transferable into SH/SW via Pokemon Home.
