https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-switch-homebrew-development.507284/Hey, is there a guide explaining how to develop homebrew apps? What I need to know are some basics like... configuring the project, printing something on-screen (text, graphics) and utilizing syscalls with C/C++.
Since my current project is pretty much finished i'd like to get into Switch homebrew development and turn some of my ideas into reality
Up to you.... it makes no difference...Since this is the noob area, guess I'll start here. I have brought a RCM loader and looking at installing SX OS. It looks the easy and simple to use, what I'm looking for. I have a pre patched switch but with the latest update on it. Should I install the SX OS on a different SD card for when I'm playing "backups" or can I just install it on my SD card with all my original games on it?

No one has been banned for that yet. Nintendo doesn’t check which files you have on the micro sd. It’s not necessary to swap the cards. And no, you won’t lose anything on the card. But as always you should create a backup. Thanks for the reply.
So I'm guessing it is the same risks involved with a console ban coming from Nintendo?
Is their any risk of losing my data that is already on the SD card if I install SX too?
If you have files based EmuNAND, you can simply copy it. If you have partition based EmuNAND, you need to clone the partition. How do I move emuMMC to a larger microSD card on OS X?
The threads I've found are of no use.

https://gbatemp.net/threads/emutool...r-sd-switch-emu-type-on-sxos-and-more.550756/The emuMMC partition is hidden.
Use the dd command. It's an .exe file.
It doesn't run on OS X.
