Please vote only if you have an EZFlash Omega.

By the way, I have never had save issues with it, and I have played a lot of Mother 3. I wait 5 seconds before turning off the GBA, if it helps.

Mine has had freeze and save issues since I got it. Have followed all the steps posted here. Brand new mem cards recommended by ezflash etc.

@Chano Thanks so much for doing this poll.

A suggestion that could be useful/essential would be to ask everyone (especially those like yourself with on issues) to post the exact brand/version of their microSD.

Also I'd say the nature of polls like this, is those with issues will always be more vocal than those who are having on issues. It's just the way it is, so please post if you have no issues too – and what card you are using please.

Do not select exit in the emulator!!!!!

if you want exit emulator, summon the menu by press L R, wait seconds, then power off instead select exit.

it will prevent memory card corruption more than 99%.

If it helps, I'm not using the included emulators, I use it for GBA stuff only.

Is it better for avoiding corruption to ignore the included emulators and build your own emulator roms?

I have had 2 - 3 corruptions so far, just have to remember to make a backup and restore but it is definitely an issue. So far the custom firmware is doing an auto save which is a good workaround.

Yep after using it for about 6 months I encounted the issue. Was playing a game and saved, I always wait over 5secs to save before shutting down my gba sp. Anyway noticed I couldnt load new games after this, kept getting error unable to create save state I can only play the old games that I had save files for. Did some reading around and others reported this issue claiming they think there is a limit of savestates you can have hence you can only play handful of games before it corrupts. I tried to delete my savestate folder but it would not work saying unable to delete folder so had no choice but to format my sdcard and reload the firmware and roms into the sdcard and i did lose all my savestates. havent tried it since then and yet to play a game on my gba after this happened as it kinda bumed me out

I was using the latest ez flash firmware no custom firmware though I am thinking of testing this now. Have a sandisk 16gb sd card if that helps find an issue somehow with the freeze fault
