So it seems that pkgj has updated to version .52 but I cant get it working. Found on reddit that it seems I need to install itsl-enso via github. I transfer that vpk file to my vita via vitashell and when I try to run the vpk file I keep getting the error
"error 0xffffffe2"

Anyone know a fix for this?

I just updated, and I had no problems with it. it should ask if you want to update when you open pkgj. then, it will download to the pkgi folder as a vpk. it's kinda hard for me to understand you. are you sending the vpk to the system via ftp? you mention vita shell, so I'm assuming you tried to update through the app?

No problem Ill explain what Ive done to reproduce the error code.

So yesterday I launched pkgj after finding out on reddit that there is an update to version .52 or 53 I forget now. I selected yes to update. It downloads the pkgj.vpk file to the vita ux0 directory. I then launched vitashell and ran the .vpk. I then launched pkgj and refreshed the list of games. I then tried to install some comp packs but I kept getting an error code that I need itsl-enso. So I found a few posts on reddit with users mentioning the same error as me.

Anyway people there posted a link to github with the itsl-enso 3.0.vpk file. So I browsed to that link and downloaded it to my pc. I then launched vitashell and via ftp I transferred that vpk to my ux0\vpk folder. I navigated to that directory via my vita and tries to run and install the itsl-enso.vpk but I keep getting that 0xfffffffe2 error

I've never heard of that error. maybe an uninstall and reinstall might work. it could also be the update (in patch folder) that's causing a problem.

you can uninstall enso with its installer. remember to install ofw afterwards or else pieces of enso will still be present.

oh wow that seems like such a pain I am not comfortable to do that at all. Do not want to load ofw and then henkaku and enso all over again very worried Ill jailbreak it. Ill just stick to using ref00d without the comp packs so far the games I have and I guess only want are working fine. I was thinking to get games I never heard of before and saw they had comp packs to load but the effort for this does not seem worth it. Who knows maybe a new plugin may happen someday I dunno. But thanks for trying to help, maybe if someone else gets this error and a fix is ever found Id like to know about it if a complete uninstall and reinstall isnt required

afaik, the compatibility packs are only for people on lower firmware. I don't think there's any harm in not using them though.

Yep Im on 3.60 that is why I thought I need the comp pack as some games are 3.65 or higher and they do say I need to install them on a couple games. even though I can run them still now.

Anyway the issue is fixed,I deleted the vpk file on my sdcard and downloaded it again and transferred it via ftp to the sdcard and it installed. Guess it got corrupted the first time when copying it over
