Hacking Installing xenoblade 2 with DLC on 32GB sd card

Hello there
I have recently installed haxchi on my Wii U
I want to install xenoblade Chronicles 2 on to my hdd with wup installer gx2
I only have a 32GB SD card the game and DLC are around 32GB so wouldn't fit on the card.
Can I install the game 20GB then install the DLC and update 11GB?

Yes.
I suggest installing the update before the DLC, though.

Do you mean Xenoblade X, because Xenoblade 2 isn't even on the Wii U.

Since you don't have enough space you can install them two separate times, install game first then update follow by the DLC content.

OK I installed the game and update then installed the DLC
When I start the game the main screen under the X says Ver 1.0.1E is that correct for the update?
If so can you tell if the DLC has been applied?
As there is no icons I can fin in the game for DLC

The Xenoblade Chronicles X DLC is intended only for the physical release to improve loading times compared to loading the files from the disc.
It's of no use for the digital version of the game.

From the Nintendo Support site:

If I purchased the digital version of the game, do I need to download the data packs too?
No. The data packs are for people who purchase the physical disc-based version of the game.
The data packs will not improve load times on the downloadable version of the game.

Only the japanese version has additional content as DLC but that is included in the main game for western releases.

*1.0.1E is the latest EUR version

Yeah simply delete the games "add-on content" under Wii U's Data Management.
