I have a small suggestion. Perhaps add an option to display filename instead of game title? If say you have different versions of the same rom it’s impossible to discern between them unless you sort them into separate folders.

You can always press Y to see the filenames.

You mean you tried both the manual and updater methods?

Yes i deleted the old nds folder and paste the new, likewise the boot.nds file then removed the old cia files from the system and installed the new ones. I tried the updater too but i only get a black screen after and a message an error has occured. Press and hold the power button.... I even updated the system in case of corrupted files but i get the same black screen

Try checking the SD card for errors.
If there are no errors found, try another SD card.

Maybe it is a "good Idea" to mention this SD Card Thing again
(regular SD Card recommended / FAT32 formatted/avoid microSD Adapters/maybe also a minimum/maximum Size recommendation/checking Card with H2testw Tool)) in the FIRST Post/Manual Side ?

Thank you.:)

I use a microsd card with adapter. Twilight menu was working previously with the same card combo. I think it is (soldering) related to the sd card slot i replaced but then all other games i install work fine. Even the istallation speeds are ok. I tested the micro sd card for errors and it is fine

Try checking the SD card for errors.
If there are no errors, please try the ROMs on an emulator for PC.

Press A while the theme is selected in TWLMenu++ settings.

I tried that, but nothing on the twilight menu home screen changes. it's still blue.

The Advance Wars theme is an Acekard theme, afaik.
Try setting it to Acekard, then press A to find the theme.

thanks for replying, but it's still not working :( is there something wrong with my themes? or maybe i need to install something on my sd card? don't know why the themes aren't working

my screen still looks like this:

You have to go into the ROM menu (yellow arrow).
There are no quick menu themes.
