Hacking How can I edit .bin and .dat files from my Wii NAND?

Greetings! I have my wii's NAND files, I have the keys.bin and nand.bin from BootMii. However, I don't know how to edit/view the .bin and .dat files.

Any ideas? (Sorry if this doesn't make sense, it's very late here.)

You need to decrypt the nand.bin first, use the program Showmiiwads to do it just then you can see all the system files you want to modify

Hmmm. I downloaded ShowMiiWads and I went to Options > Change NAND Backup Path, then I went through every .bin file I could find. (I used Tools > Unpack U8 Archive) It kept giving me this error:

I just did, then I tried another .bin file. It kept giving me the error.

Not all of them are going to be U8 archives. There are all sorts of files in the Wii NAND, some of them are going to be just raw binary data, which you won't be able to get much useful from, unless you know what you're looking for. And there are also other archive formats used by the Wii than just U8 I believe.
