I've been looking for someone with the same problem with no luck.

I'm on latest firmware but update message keeps appearing. I do not want to remove it via gag clearer or recovery, I want to have my seitch fully updated. What am I missing?

Thank you.

How do I tell them apart? Last time I updated this happened, thought it was a game uodate and got my fuses burnt due to being careless. This time there's no fuses to be burnt, but I'd like to know for the future or if I get another vulnerable switch

Edit: the message only speaks about the system

Would really help if you took a screenshot of what it says. Right now it doesn't make any sense to have a system update nag when your already on the latest firmware

I think you need to delete some temp update files that may be left in your system. I've never done this but turn off the switch and boot into recovery mode by pressing the power button, volume up, and volume down button. After this don't select anything and just power off your system. When you enter recovery mode it deletes any update files you might have.

Again I've never done it. If it doesn't work there's probably another way but that's why it's asking you to update I think. Let me know if it works.

If there is no "system update" written, it's not system update, but game update.

My system is in spanish. It was the system update prompt as it allowed me to start the game.

I did try the boot into recovery, and it worked, but next time I connected to the internet the prompt appeared again.

I did allow it to update eventually simce no fuses would be burnt this time, but it's still an enigma...

I had the same behaviour when I updated to FW 9 via Choi.
Not sure what causes this, but then I again I almost never use SysNAND so I didn't care much.
