Hi Guys,

Sorry if it's been asked before, i did do a search but couldn't find exactly what i was looking for. I have just modded my switch 9.0.1 with latest atmosphere on emunand (Or whatever it's called)

I have been looking into Auto-RCM and im wondering, if i enable it, i get it goes into rcm automatially without the need for a jig, but i still need a payload right? I have a RCMloader one so i would still need to have that in the USB C port to boot into Hekate? Is there anyway around that? it's not ipatched switch but sysnand is on 9.0.1.

What if i used auto boot to boot straight into the emunand? would that work or i still need the payload?

Cheers.

Installing Auto-RCM just forces the switch you always boot into RCM mode, you still required a payload injector. The only way around needing one is installing a modchip to do the same thing but internally.

If your using hekate as your bootloader you can hold "Vol -" to get into the hekate menu allowing you to select other options.

Yes you still need to inject the hekate payload to launch hekate or as I explain above install a modchip

Thanks, that's what i though :( No need for auto-RCM then since it's pretty much the same amount of effort
