The Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles remaster has been delayed to Summer 2020

If you were hoping to play the upcoming remaster for Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles next month, you're going to have to wait. Square Enix has pushed the game's release back from January 23, 2020, to "Summer 2020". The reasoning for the delay is to allow for the development team to tweak and improve the game so that it could be "the best experience possible". When Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition does release, it'll be for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android, and will offer cross-play and cross-save compatibility with each platform.

Since announcing Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition, we’ve read so many positive messages filled with encouragement, and all of us on the team would like to thank you for the support you’ve shown us so far.

Today we’re announcing that the release date for the game is being moved to Summer 2020. We’ve made the decision to adjust the release date to allow the development team some extra time to make final adjustments to the game to make this the best experience possible.

We know you’ve been waiting patiently for this game, and we hope you’ll continue to support us as you have done so far, over the coming months through to launch.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Remastered Edition is coming to PS4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices. You’ll be able to play online with your friends and transfer your save file across all four platforms when the game launches in Summer 2020.

Man the cost of entry for this game back when it first came out was ridiculous. You needed 4 GBAs and each needed their own GCN cable. And then if you managed that there was always a big argument who would carry the chalice. Then there is the reward system that can sometimes be extremely off putting. I hope they changed a lot of things around to make it more enjoyable.

Where is my tactics remaster
on PSP and Android and IOS.
Seeing it also releases on android and ios i'm pretty sure it will be filled to the brim with micro transactions and hidden costs
No. SE have loads of games on mobile that are identical to their console versions, meaning no in app purchases.

I'm excited for this. The original CC was something me and my friends put countless hours into as kids. Sounds to me like a lot in this thread didn't have friends to play with, and that's what made the game fun.
