I've enabled Slot-1 microSD access on TWLmenu++ configuration but It seems that I still unable to access my flashcard? Installed TWLMenu++ on my console's sd. Havent installed TWL++ on my flashcard though, should I do that first? Or it just didnt support R4i Gold Pro flashcard at all? :(

Yep, it does not support that flashcard.

@Robz8 Widescreen does not work properly using the tutorial in the thread. When i follow it, the games boot as if nothing at all changed. The only way for it to work is if i do not rename the cxi to Widescreen and put it in the luma sysmodules folder, but then everything is stuck on widescreen.

So umm, I kinda fucked up when selecting system at startup and selected dsi instead of 3ds.
Any way to correct that? It said that selecting the wrong one might cause bad things to happen.

I tried looking around and noticed that when I select the system settings option in the misc settings menu my 3ds crashes and asks for a reset.
Games seem to be working fine though.

You need to launch a game that's compatible with widescreen.
If the game you're launching is listed, make sure it's a clean/unhacked ROM.

Delete "settings.ini" at "sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/".

Nope. idk how. :P
You can still launch the flashcard and then TWLMenu++ from there, but B4DS will be used to run games.

I was able to make TWLMenu++ autoboot on that card, however from my understanding, B4DS has very limited compatibility. Not sure if that has changed.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i dont have an sd card adapter but I have an usb sd card adapter

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
