Is this safe to play online? Booting StockFW from Hekate won't get me banned? I don't have any pirate installed on Stock, only on EmuMMC. I want to maximize the use of reboot to Hekate to switch from sys to emu to sys, and I don't want to insert the jig every time I want to boot Emu. Thanks.

As I have stated, it is the one I personally use all the time and wouldn't use it if it was risky. Now that doesn't mean I'm saying that it is ban-free but I would be very surprised if I was banned from this.

Have you enabled AutoRCM? it seems that rebooting from OFW (Booted via Hekate) does not reboot to Hekate. I can only reboot from sysCFW to Hekate. Thank you.

Thats not how it works. By default the sxos has stealth mode enabled you cant connect to Nintendo services at all unless you turn it off.

Well, if you boot to stock, you cant reboot to payload. You will need autoRCM.

Yes I have enabled AutoRCM. And rebooting from Stock mode will not reboot into Hekate. That is a CFW feature.

I've had my switch hacked for about 2 weeks now and I have been loading my cfw onto the sysnand to back up and restore saves for pokemon shield/sword to edit them via pkhex on pc. I only load into it while being in airplane mode..but once I restart my system, I go back online and play. My emummc is in airplane mode.

Will keep yall updated for if & when I get banned. Figured it may somehow help research.

How far has ban prevention progressed? I have a full backup of my NAND before using SX (only mod I've done), never been online at all. It'd be nice to use an official cart to play Smash Ultimate online, but I don't want to risk a perma ban.

If you have an nsp install you will be get a ban , about xci format some persons have been able to avoid ban with original xci certs or with a cert from another game in the xci (cert injection I think) , or you can restore your nand with your backup if that the last nand nintendo saw just don't restore it with sxos because someone got banned using sxos restore option what I did is emunand for offline games and nand for original use so far no ban are reported this way

i accidentally injected atmosphere into sysnand yesterday and hard shutdown the switch right before it connected online. i have since connected to the eshop successfully because in a frantic i wanted to check if i was banned (i should have rethought this but too late now). i was able to use the eshop and download a free game fine.

Now i'm wondering if i should restore clean sysnand or just let it be.. not sure which one will be worse. thoughts anyone please?

is my sysnand now "dirty" forever?

Restoring a clean NAND dump would only make things worse as your current NAND is different than your clean NAND creating a mismatch on their servers. Yes, your sysMMC is dirty forever now.

Thank you for confirming my suspicion. I’ll leave it be and hope for the best. I didn’t do anything at all with atmosphere so hopefully it’s irrelevant. Too bad I can’t just restore clean sysnand anymore.

How can that be? A nand backup is a nand backup right?

Maybe the person that got banned in sxos with just nand restore got something wrong in the process , but yeah it shouldn't be a problem using a clean backup at least with atmos

well if they connected to Nintendo servers they have a snapshot linked to their switch that would be different from their nand backup. i think

Additional Comments. It's weird everything was fine and normal. I went on the shop 3 to 20 times. Couldn't decide if I wanted to buy the game. Finally I bought it. I realized it was going to install on my SD cards and I wanted all my bought games installed on my Switch storage. So I quickly Data management and deleted software. Powered off the switch. Took out usb. Turned it back on. Some how It realized something. Launched shop and got error. 2-3 weeks before I bought a 500 gb sd card. fulled it up with games. I updated games via internet. Everything was fine for 3 weeks though. Didn't play online at all.

I bought it and then realized I was defaultly installing on SD card I pancaked and went to dater management deleted the game I bought. Turned off Switch. I was currently running atmosphere and forgot. When I turned on my switch with No SD cards I got errors going into the shop. I don't think somehow the switch noticed all my games and banned me when restarting the switch and pulling out the SD card. Removing all data for my games. Love to know why I got banned thou so I can prevent this in the future. What can I do with my switch no it is banned?

That is impossible as bans are stored server-side meaning nothing on your console is modified when it is banned. You must have mistaken the error code for a ban.

While you did many things to get banned, the biggest contributing factor was installing .NSP files.
