We're kicking it off with Sports Story, the sequel to Golf Story. It's a Switch exclusive and will release in mid 2020.

Streets of Rage 4 releases the first half of 2020 for the Switch, bringing classic beat-em-up action to the platform.

Gleamlight is a game where you turn into a sword. It is a 2D adventure game, and boasts being intuitive enough to not need a UI. Early 2020.

Bake 'n Switch is a four player party brawler. Summer 2020.

Supermash "is a game that makes games". Takes place in a video game shop. It changes every time you play it, as you get to combine two classic genres of games, and get an entirely different experience each time. May 2020.

Talos Principle: Deluxe Edition heads to the Switch. Today.

Sail Forth is a sailing game, with a procedurally generated world. You'll control your boat and upgrade it as you travel the high seas. 2020.

Dauntless gets a new trailer for the Switch, along with the reveal of an expansion, and Switch-exclusive content. The game itself is very Monster Hunter-esque. Playable today for free.

Murder mystery puzzle game called Murder by Numbers. Has music made by the composer of the first Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney game.

Skatebird is Tony Hawk, but with birds. Late 2020.

Liberated is a game that takes place in a cyberpunk world, with a noir comic book style presentation. Time Switch exclusive 2020.

Boyfriend Dungeon is headed to the Switch. As the title implies, each of the weapons turn into different dateable males as you explore isometric dungeons. 2020.

Dreamscaper is a timed console exclusive.

Team17 reveals their new game, which features crafting, building, and survival elements. You find yourself on an island, and have to survive. Called The Survivalists, you journey through randomly generated islands. Has local and online coop.

A sequel to Axiom Verge is in development. Fall 2020.

That wraps it up.

Supermash sounds pretty interesting.

Sail Forth "No Man's Sea"

We are dating swords now? What's next? lol I find it funny that there are two games here that talks about humans being swords.

A lot of procedural generation in this direct.

I haven't played Golf Story but from the looks of it, it seems like a well-developed game building on the concept/framework of Mario Golf for Gameboy.

With that in mind, when I saw that they're doing tennis now it got me interested, because Mario Tennis on Gameboy is just great.

Might just have to try it out.

/ I really like these Indie Showcases, it's nice for talented developers to get some good spotlight like this. Plus it's so easy to ignore and write off all these games as "indie titles" and miss some really great stuff.

Damn...I missed this. Again 'damn' again, because that is a line-up that I care more about than the "hey, look guys! We've added another layer of bling on our HD remakes in addition to 512 fetch quests!!!" AAA companies.

Granted, I only played Talos principle before (which is fairly decent if you love 3D puzzling). But skatebird, streets of rage 4, survivalists and (most likely) axiom verge sequel certainly have my interest. That backlog is growing pretty hefty for not having a switch.

But erm...as much as I love the experimental nature of indies, there is such a thing as jumping the shark. I mean...

...seriously?

Any chance of dating...(warning: pun intensifying!!!) "sharp looking" females as well? :creep:

Kinda disappointed they didn't say anything about Silver Falls: Three Stars Down but it's a 3DS game so I wouldn't expect anything less.
