Hacking Stuck on System Update with Luma?

The guide tells you to update online and that it's safe. Read the directions and follow the guide.
Thank you for your help. I suppose I misread. I didn't exactly understood that I am downloading off the internet. I assumed (mistakenly) that all the update talk about B9S and Luma is off SD itself.

EDIT: Dang it, stuck again!
I'm on save NAND, but it says I need at least 1.3GB card, Can I just swap for another one mid way or?

no. You need one sd card with that capacity on it.
Right, of course. I'm asking if I can swap it out Not midway dumping but midway through the guide's process. Can I just eject the "system" SD with all the folders and put a blank one or do I have to have certain files and directories on it in order to proceed to the dumping step?

You will need the boot.firm file on the card to proceed with a new card, formatted fat32 32kb clusters aswell.

EDIT: Nope Tried 4 different cards (although all micro SD with adapter) and ALL: ERROR: Cannot open destination file (copied entire folder structure too) Should I stop the process and try to restart the 3DS?

EDIT2: NVM, rebooted and restarted the whole process with new SD card and that did it.
