I was simply asking as 3 months ago he said he was gonna do it within that week/weekend.. And it's been a long time since then with no update.
I am being patient as I respect his work and what he's done, I'm just generally curious why it's taking so long.
I guess because he is doing another things or he changed his mind about this. I understand it especially if there are some people here (not taking about you personally) demanding it like if they were paying for a product... Everything on these forums is free or ends being free, it's a great luck for us, but we can't get used to be served as we want always.
I repeat, he can let this Homebrew fall, he has no responsibility with you or with anybody.
If you are very impatient for playing this games use retroarch, it works fine.

I tried to compile it, but for some reason the interface ends up way larger than the screen - I think the screen's only showing the bottom-left corner of the GUI.

If I force PFBA to think that the screen is bigger, like 1920x1080, then the interface sensibly becomes smaller than the screen, and sits nicely in the top left corner of the screen...

This is all done with PFBA, not pemu.

Hi guys, just a little update to inform you that.. the update is taking a little longer :)
Unfortunately, pFBA was in a "non-working" state, because of a lot of internal changes. I keep thinking it's near a release, but well... this time it should be good soon (a few days).

In the meantime, here is a screenshot of the "work in progress":

Uuh, this is looking nice! While you're at it: The favorites in the current build were bugged. Parts of the list - or the complete list was deleted regularly on my Switch. This is also happening on your other ports for the Switch. Maybe this might be worth a fix ;)

Thank you @cpasjuste for all your hard work, it looks fantastic!

hope the option to change the difficulty is added for games such as "sega16" games etc?
I'm really looking forward to the new version of this emulator, and keep up the great work.

kind regards

@cpasjuste good companion.
I tell you an idea of being able to add xcraper, in order to download the game / rom image of each system.
It would be a good idea to implement it.
Thank you very much.:hrth::bow:

@cpasjuste When playing in vertical mode, the current default rotate seems to be incorrect for the flipgrip. Flipgrip covers the vents in default rotate. It needs to flippedd by default for flipgrip. Its easy to correct by flipping in the menu, however it would be great to set it flipped by default.

Can you look into this?

Hi, more info on the update , as there is a lot of questions. There's a few bad news too but well :)

- Consoles games will not be supported in the next release, this would again report the release date. It's in the top of the Todo list for next one.
- Favorites will not be available in the next update, it will also be properly added back in the next one.
- Most of the bugs you may have in the last/previous release won't be fixed yet.
- The major rework is on the way pFBA handle roms list and roms infos. It now work with a gamelist.xml (based on screencraper db) which allow better list filtering and roms informations. While internal scrapping is implemented, the database is already fully scrapped and provided with the release (gamelist.xml).
- pFBA does now also support videos snaps :)
- A separate download will be provided for all roms images (screenscraper mixrvb2, ~200mb) and videos snaps (~7gb).

So after this release there is a few majors things on the list:
- add Consoles games back
- add Favorites back
- add Vita support back
- a major rework of the skin system (already in a good shape), so you will be able to create a skin from zero, with stuff you want (images, texts, lists, menu etc) but also tweens and such.
- finally, I'll take the time to solve remaining bugs that are present since a while (dip switch's, incorrect rotations/inputs, keyboard support etc...). So this will not come anytime soon :)
