Hacking E-book Reader [PCSC80012] English translation + How to add custom books

Updated some programm stuff, MatNyaga check pull requests:
EDIT: forgot to set settings.ini to always copy, might cause error when building.

System:
-Added reAddcont path memory. If saved path is not accessible, programm prompts to select it again.
-Added simple EPUB -> Reader compatibility check. If selected EPUB contains 0 image files, user will be prompted to select other EPUB file, if EPUB contains less than 2 image files user will be prompted with a warning.
-Added SeriesOrdinal (Volume №) to AddBook form.
-Reformatted metadata.xml to be more code-friendly.

Design:
-Disabled fullscreen and resizing on forms.
-Changed design of AddBook form to look more fancy (also added icons).

-Fixed settings.ini "file not found exception"
-Set a limit of 588 books
-Added XML serialization ("metadata.xml") to enable a Book Gallery i.e Shows the number of books that are present
-Updated author information

CBZ comicbook format converted to EPUB format.
Done.
ComicsToEpub works ok on Mac (using Wine application).

@GrapheneCt I translated some text in HxD but (in the file TextiListJP.dat), when i use the next characters: á, é, í, ó, ú, ñ the next of the text isn't showed, can you let me know how to introduce new characters?
And i want to know if in the file ui.dat there are some text or image to translate

RY0M43CH1Z3N I'm pretty sure HxD doesn't understand that characters and replaces them with 00. Check HEX table when you input á, it should be C3 A1. If it's not, then you will have to find another HEX editor or add this characters directly in HEX form, wich is annoying.

YotiReal Thank you, fixed this. As for 0syscall6, I still don't have enough info if it 100% works or not. Can't check it myself, both of my Vitas are 3.65. I will add info to the post, but it needs more testing from more people.

Thanks for the patch!, it's nice to read manga with this patch, but i want to say that i have 2 problems:

1- can you PLEASE stop the sync with reader account message on the app boot ?
2- i didn't find any thing in the settings to change the regional controls (aka X/O) can you change it or make a separate patch
for it ?

Note - When editing a book in the library, if you wish to add a new image, be sure to reselect the other images as well.

What hex editor you use to modify it?

HxD, it doesn't have any problems with standard english characters. I'm afraid you will have to search for some other one, thankfully there is a lot of them.

hey guys great work for the translation it looks very great, i tried to add some of my cbz with that neat application but i keep having that "error code 2002" when i try to lauch my book, i checked and the files are in jpg and don't exceed 1.2 mo

What application? Reader can only work with .epub files.

yes i was using Kindle Comic Converter to transform them inyo epub and the stretch/upscale option is unchecked.

I was doing some tests over the weekend and encountered the same issue. Would you mind using the following tool: https://sourceforge.net/projects/comictoepub/ and report to us if it works or not. The tool tends to crash at random if your comic book is ~250 pages though, so keep that in mind.

- Redesigned book cover selection window
- Cover, back and spine images now can be edited or added separately.

Your Vita-Book-Editor works ok on Mac OS (using Wine application).
